We stayed at Mt. Gainor for our daughter's surprise engagement weekend and it turned out so much better for choosing to stay here. Laurie and Jerry were the perfect hosts and made our stay wonderful and memorable. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and the location was very quiet and relaxing. The grounds and surrounding area were perfect for... More

Less than an hour from Austin, the Mt. Gainor Inn is a wonderful Hill Country B&B. The Inn is very well kept, and the owners Jerry and Laurie are friendly, engaging and gracious hosts. They are minutes from Dripping Springs, Texas which allowed us to visit a craft brewery (Twisted X) and a beautiful vineyard (Driftwood), as well as have... More

Our stay at Mt. Gainor Inn was simply incredible. We rented out the entire place for the girls in my sister's bridal party. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, relaxing, clean. The dinning area was inside and had seating outside on the deck as well. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts had everything we asked for (offered to refill coffee multiple... More

My husband and I stayed in the Hideaway suite. The room is very clean, comfortable and spacious. We only stayed one night but plan to return. The breakfast was delicious and prompt. This was our first B&B and was a great way to start. The hospitality of the hosts make it easy to recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Mt. Gainor Inn. We stayed in the La Posada suite, which was lovely (& quite large). We took advantage of both the hot tub and the hammocks to relax. We really loved the location, as it was so quiet and peaceful. The owners were great hosts and very friendly. We... More

We had the opportunity to stay at Mt. Gainor Inn in early October 2013 and I hope my review accurately conveys how nice of a B&B this really is. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was very nicely decorated and very clean. It made us feel like we had traveled back in time to Texas 100 years earlier.... More

My husband and I were looking for a bed and breakfast in the hill country west of Austin, TX. to spend a few nights and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Although we wanted a place that was convenient to some of the area tourist attractions, we wanted to stay in a place off the beaten path, and one where we... More
