Getting a five star rating is a big deal!! And this place should be recognized as being a big deal. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We stayed here for the weekend and couldn't have been more happy. The breakfast was great. When calling ahead about special diet options, they know their stuff and have... More

We spent three wonderful nights at the Mt. Gainor Inn. While it is a little off the beaten path, the ten minutes it takes to get there is well worth it once you arrive. We rented the Garden Room and enjoyed the super comfortable king bed and spacious private bath. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely keep Mt. Gainor... More

I was looking for a long weekend getaway with my wife, someplace that was peaceful, quiet and scenic. I found this B&B and liked that it was in the middle of no where, and was very country feeling. We spent 2 nights here, and it was exactly as I wanted. The room (Veranda) was very nice. Large, Whirlpool bath, balcony... More

Mt. Gainor Inn is a place to take a deep, quiet, calming breath in the Hill Country of Texas! My husband and I felt welcomed and part of the family the moment we stepped on the property. If you are looking for a tranquil place to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets after spending the day visiting nearby vineyards & other... More

Mt. Gainor Inn is set in the beautiful hill country in Dripping Springs, Texas not far from Austin. The area is checkered with breweries and vineyards that you can visit, tour and sample their products. It is a wonderful getaway in a peaceful setting. A definite must if you enjoy those things.

We spent our 37th wedding anniversary weekend here and highly recommend it! The room was pristine, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast delicious!!! Laurie and Jerry go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. It is in the middle of nowhere, so very quiet with deer all around. Wonderful restaurants, shopping and wineries nearby.... More

The cottage was very nice and clean. Beautiful grounds and scenery. You can watch the deer graze and lay on a hammock in absolute quiet. Jerry made delicious gourmet breakfast every morning. We didn't want to leave. Would and will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Mt Gainor Inn and will definitely return if we are back in the area! We were warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the room, the hospitality, the decor, and the peaceful grounds outside. Even in spite of rain it was a lovely time and we were able to enjoy the hammocks outside and the hot... More

My husband and I were just there and had a great time! Our purpose for traveling to the area was for a wedding, and when looking for a place to stay we wanted somewhere special being that it would be our first trip away from our 4 month old at home. Some much needed adult time was definitely what we... More

So we stayed here for a couple nights.when looking on line, it looked like a beautiful place to stay.but when we arrived it looked like a dessert. The owner Jerry showed us other rooms, the rooms were messy and not well kept.it seemed as if they clean only when people are arriving.on our second night of staying, we get back... More

I am truly sorry you did not find your stay exemplary. We were notified by housekeeping that you had left the window in the room and the rain had soaked the floor creating a very dangerous situation. The back door was unlocked because the Housekeeper had just left the room with mop, mop bucket, wet towels from cleaning up the... More
