Great little B&B tucked away in the hill country. Quiet, very remote and just what we were looking for. Our room met all expectations and the bed and sheets were comfy. The bathtub was a huge perk! Breakfast was yummy and always greeted by friendly staff. Was able to look at all rooms and you couldn't go wrong with any... More

We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding but my wife was ill throughout our stay. The owners were extremely gracious! They prepared dry toast and fruit for my wife, and even brought a toaster to our room so she could fix toast herself. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was wonderful! The served breakfast was... More

We wanted to check out a few wineries nearby, and this quaint, beautiful B&B was perfect! The owners we're very inviting and kind, and the french toast breakfast was second to none. Very relaxing, with whirlpools and comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

Our room was quiet and comfortable - shabby Texan chic. Wish we had time to hang out and explore the property but were too highly scheduled. Breakfast was cooked by the friendly owner and more than adequate. Coffee and treats were always available in the dining room. This is not a fancy pants place, it 's a comfortable Hill County... We spent only one night here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were in one of the small cabins. You could see all the love that went into the house. Laurie and Jerry are charming. The breakfast served was awesome. The views were nice...good view of Texas country.

Based on the reviews, I expected this place to be better. It's set deep into the Hill Country, 5-10 miles from a major road with several low water crossings depending on your route (something to beware during a rain storm). We stayed in the Garden Room, which is part of the 100 year old building. The room and bed were... More

Our Suite was huge and tastefully decorated. It's nifty little porch is a neat place to have a beverage and enjoy the countryside. Jerry and Laurie make you feel right at home and put on a great spread for breakfast. Look forward to our next opportunity to spend a weekend at Mt. Gainor Inn.

My husband and I stayed in the Side Cottage and had a lot of privacy. Breakfast was great both days and we enjoyed the hammocks. The B&B is nestled in the country away from the world. Saw deer and longhorn roaming the roads. Will stay here again.

This is a great place to unwind and enjoy the landscape. While the drive is a little difficult at night, the relaxation is worth it. Half the house is upgrade and only two rooms are a little older. We stayed in the upstairs room (off the main dining room) and it was very nicely remodeled. It included a porch, very... More

We rented the entire Inn for the grooms wedding party. The facility was perfect for our needs and would make a great facility for a family reunion. Room are well decorated clean and private. Owners were attentive, interesting to talk to but not intrusive. Breakfast was great. Plan to go back for a quiet weekend getaway.
