Leaving Vegas and arriving at hillside in Texas was just incredible ! Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the Texas hills was so relaxing , the perfect start to our married life . Don't miss the salt lick BBQ down the road , amazing experience !

my wife and i celebrated recently our one year wedding anniversary. living in austin, we didn't want to get away too far from home. the hillside cabin was perfectly located smack in between wimberley and dripping springs, making a day trip to either town super feasible. for being a cabin built in 1865, i'd say it's aged beautifully. the cabin... My parents booked this cabin for us for our wedding. We were married at Driftwood Vineyards and this was the perfect location since it was just across the street from the vineyard, and close distance to all the wineries in the area. It was nice to have our own space to relax after all the festivities. We would come back... More

My wife and I discovered the hillside cabin in 2005. We have stayed there numerous times. My daughter was married in October 2010 at Driftwood Winery. The wedding was amazing, and my wife and I decided to rent the hillside cabin for my daughter the night before her special day and the night of the wedding for her and our... More

My wife and I randomly found Hillside Cabin four years ago. Needless to say we consider ourselves very lucky to have found it! We stayed in the cabin on our wedding night and it was absolutely perfect! The owner Tricia Dabney has an eye for style. She hasn't missed anything. The cabin is beautiful and the location is a perfect... More

My husband and I were so excited when we booked the cabin for our honeymoon weekend. When we arrived, we were shocked to see the cabin dusty and filthy. There was old food in the fridge and a hairy bar of soap in the bathroom. The glass shower had water spots on the glass and there were toothpaste/water spots on... More

I have owned and operated Hillside Cabin for nearly seven years. During that time my family takes pride in making the guests very welcome and relaxed here. During this booking my cleaner had a family emergency and was unable to clean the cabin and unable to notify me. When I received the call from my guests that the cabin wasn't... More

My wife and I spent a Friday and Saturday night at this wonderful property, and we were very happy that we did. There are a large number of lodging/cabin/B&B options within twenty miles of this property and we have stayed at a number of these over the years. We try to mix it up a little and have yet to... This is a quiet, very secluded cabin nestled in the Texas hill country. Its not a bed and breakfast per se,although they do bring fresh rolls in the morning. Marie and I have stayed there several times, and each time seemed to be more wonderful, more romantic, and more serene than the last one. We took in the peacefulness of the area, the fragrant smells of... More
