We stayed at the Renaissance for our 33rd anniversary. This hotel was very nice, very friendly staff. We had a room without a view at first, the staff quickly moved us to a queen beds, with a view. After returning from the pool we wanted to nap. Hey, this is what the weekends are for right? Well the people in... more

The service when you arrive is on par with a 4 or 5 star hotel. Our room was on the 20th floor and faced the medical center. The room was a bit musty - probably difficult to air out on the 20th floor with 100 degree temps outside, but still a little bothersome. Beds are comfortable, pillow selection was wierd... more

This hotel was like a breath of fresh air after my previous stay in a different hotel that i would describe as a breath of sewage. The rooms were clean. They gym had descent equipment. The view was pleasant. The rooms were nicely air conditioned without any loud noises. There was some noise in the halls but whatever that's a... more

We got the King Tut package which along with our tickets to the exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, included a King size bed and the breakfast buffet at the Charisma restaurant. We had a great stay! We loved the room--lots of soft, comfortable bedding, flat screen TV, mini-refrigerator, valuables safe, internet connection, large desk space, lots of storage,... more

Just finished 3 nights here working for a client in the local area. Due to my colleague's status w/Marriott, we were upgraded to the Club level w/connecting rooms. These have to be some of the biggest rooms I've seen in a hotel (see pictures), though the bathrooms are surprisingly small considering the size of the guest room. The bathroom is... more

We just returned from 2 overnights at the Dallas Renaissance. We really enjoyed our short stay. The service was great and everyone that we came in contact with was helpful and made us feel welcome. The Club Lounge was convenient and cozy. Our room was on the 28th floor with a great view of downtown. We had a King room... more

This hotel meets the basic requirements of a clean place to stay, but honestly did not meet my expectations. Despite many other reviewer's comments on the "beautiful rooms", I thought that the decorating scheme was not that great. In fact, I think that was the ugliest carpet I have ever seen (okay, not as bad as burnt orange shag carpet,... more

We were there to visit King Tut exhibit. Upon check in the lady at the desk told us of another package deal for our second night that saved us $50.00 right then. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and newly redone. It was too cold for the pool but it is on the roof where there is a view... more

Upon arrival we were immediatly impressed! Attentive valet/bellman, managers greeting guests and casually sttending the lobby, friendly front desk girls who checked up in quickly into our guaranteed room type. Our room was GORGEOUS. Not the BEST view, but far from bad. Clean and tidy, nice beds, mini fridge, even a lounge chair! Thats where the good stops....we were hosting... more

I've stayed at the Renaissance on several occasions, for various purposes, and while I've never been overwhelmed, it's definitely a hotel I'd recommend. It's always clean, with attentive staff and speedy service. Parking is steep, but self-park is an option- and you don't have to cross any streets on foot to do it. This hotel is convenient to the hospitals,... more
