This property is a renovated property from a previous hotel chain. The staff was friendly and helpful upon check-in. Rooms were clean and quiet. A different reviewer stated the air condition units were old and loud but for us it was perfect because we sleep with a fan on at home for the noice. Bathroom was quite small but the... More

Really enjoyed almost everything about this hotel. Free self parking, cookies and milk, cocktail hour, free MMA fight on TV, etc. The only thing that disappointed was the free breakfast. There was not enough food being brought out for all the guests. It took almost 30 mins to refill the sausages, the milk never got refilled, eggs and oatmeal were... More

I stayed at this hotel several times and each time the visit was fair, I say fair because the building is older and the air condition units are too loud . The best and the reason I return is the customer service , the people at the front desk are more than helpful with any questions and needs you may... More

I was greeted at check-in by a clerk at the front desk who--while looking down at her computer said, in an annoyed voice -- "Yes"?" I kept my calm and mentioned that I was checking in. Based on my experience at other Magnolia locations--and many other hotels-- I expected a quick reversal in attitude, such as "Oh I'm sorry.. Welcome... More

I have visited quite a few "modern" hotels with hip accommodations. The Magnolia (Dallas) fell short of living up to the description. From the outside (during the day) there is nothing spectacular about the refurbished property. The building appears quite dated. It has gorgeous neon lighting at night, viewable from I-75. The lobby, reception and bar area were nicely decorated.... More

It's an old Holiday Inn that was refurbished and has that feel. The rooms are meant to be hip/modern but they went overboard with the brown color theme. Everything in the room except the sheets is brown - walls, carpet, furniture... A little depressing. Window unit AC is very loud and there's no low fan setting. Just loud. But the... More

I stayed for just one night during my move to Dallas. The hotel is beautiful from the highway and very easy to spot. Rooms are quite large and well appointed. Very pleased how pet friendly they are, as well. Overall, great experience- I would stay there again!

I would stay here again. Parking is free here, and it's a short walk to the Mockingbird DART station. Much further south and you're paying for parking, too. Hotel offers free breakfast (didn't eat it because I was in a hurry - it smelled good but no to go coffee) and evening cookies and milk (enjoyed three cookies). They have... More

The stay was ok, the A/C was loud and had to adjust the volume on the TV to accommodate. The bathroom had a urine odor the whole time. Left a note for housekeeping for additional towels with $$, with no response. The breakfast was the highlight along with the cookies and milk in the evening. Would stay again, due to... More

Excellent service everywhere; check-in, bar staff, and room service. I called day before arrival for a conference and received a nice rate. Rooms were very clean, and I loved the bath products. I called for room service, since weather was bad, and as promised, food came to my room within 10 minutes! I ordered a wonderful panko crusted chicken ,... More
