The location is close to downtown. It is on the other side of the freeway and you cannot walk to the downtown area. The parking is free. The hotel is in dire need of a makeover. It looks old and smells old. The staff is uncaring and rude. I called down for a blanket and pillow and was told to... more

I stayed here for a wedding over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. It has the standard Embassy Suites design, and the suites are spacious as with other Embassy Suites. The location is close to downtown, and parking is free. Each room also has a step-out balcony, and we had a nice view of downtown. The food at breakfast, the... more

My family and I traveled to Dallas to see the Aquarium, midaevil times, Six Flags, etc for memorial day weekend. I have 2 small children and the 2 rooms are necessary. First of all the rooms are old, beds uncomfortable, A/C did not cool sufficiently even after an engineer visited the room and argued with me that it was blowing... more

Overall I would say that this is a nice place to stay. If you are used to staying at the Embassy Suites, then this hotel shouldn't disappoint you. When I checked in I have to say that the front desk attendant was less than cheery. He got the job done though. My room was clean and ready for my stay.... more

I am a business traveller and stay at this particular hotel at least 4 to 5 times a month! The front desk receptionist knew my name on my second visit and are always courteous, dining directors are great and so is the food, a great bartender for a great glass of wine and conversation! I could go on and on!... more

In 2007 the Embassy Suites Market Center was my favorite hotel in Dallas. Last year everything from the check in, the room, happy hour and the breakfast was excellent. In mid November of 2008 the initial experience was good but the breakfast on Saturday morning really did not meet my expectations. At around 9:30 a.m. the buffet was picked apart... more

We stayed at the Embassy Suites during the Thanksgiving holiday 2008. We decided to stay here because we knew they offer a complimentary breakfast and there would be a lot of room for the four of us to spread out. There were good and bad things about our stay, but overall it was fine for our purposes. And most of... more

My first visit to this Embassy. I was on the Embassador Level (8th floor) but I found the rooms to be a bit 'worn' regarding carpets, furniture, etc. The ceiling in the bathroom had peeling paint above the shower, one of the sink drains was clogged and not very operational, and the room just did not seem to meet the... more

The hotel was great. This is the perfect thing when you are staying with more than one kid - parents can have a bed, child can have a bed and other child can have sofa bed. Not to mention three sinks, plenty of mirrors for getting dressed. The security guard was way overbearing on our children - who honestly (even... more

This COULD be a very good hotel. While we were put in a room directly in front of a kitchen exhaust stack, we were not there for the view. The room was obviously newly rennovated. It was fairly clean. Some grout falling in the tight inner bath but did have 2 sinks. Outlet next to bedroom sink did not work,... more
