This hotel is located away from the city centre, but only a few minutes away by car. The hotel is dated and looking a bit old, but it has charm. Room was small and not very clean. Breakfast was continental at best with lots of carbs and bad coffee. Front desk person was so hard to understand I still am not sure what he was asking so I gave him my license, credit card, and Gold Crown card. This property has been somewhat refurbished and seems to have new owners who are anxious to please. The location, on Market Center Blvd., is next to the pricey Hilton Anatole (you can walk over and buy newspapers in the morning -- this hotel had none) The area seems to verge into industrial zoning and there was no walking traffic. Well maintained, including the pool. Someone has taken an interest. The owner must be on sight or close. Nicely decorated two and three story motel/hotel in borderline area. My 19 year old son and I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel offers free shuttle service within 3 miles, which was very convenient, since it was over 100 degrees when we were there.
