We have just enjoyed a lovely two days at The Guesthouse on Allen Street. A very pretty neighbourhood. A ten minute walk from the free M-line trolley that takes you most of the way downtown. Lots of good restaurants/bars within walking distance. Fantastic Tapas restaurant called "Si" immediately next door with happy hour 4pm to 7pm. We ate their both... More

My husband and I stayed here the night after we got married. The location was spectacular and the house beautiful! The hosts were great and made our stay comfortable. The room was large and there was a small backyard right outside of the room to enjoy. The next morning one of the hosts (I've forgotten their names by now) made... More

We have stayed here twice when attending concerts in Dallas. It is a quiet but spacious, well decorated room with large bath and dressing area. Looks out on a lovely courtyard with statue and fountain. Very close to downtown but very private. The owners deliver an excellent breakfast between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., at whatever time you desire. Two... More

We prefer B&Bs when we travel and this is one of the best we have seen. There is only one room but it is elegantly decorated and spacious with plenty of closet space, mini-fridge, desk, fireplace, small TV and shower w/o tub. A stone patio with views of downtown high-rises is pleasant for breakfast when the weather is good. The... More

Very low-key, beautiful accommodations that offer an alternative to your typical hotel. Quiet garden courtyard w/fountain is very relaxing. Walking distance from restaurants. Other reviews have covered it well. This was our second visit & we'd highly recommend it.

The Gusesthouse has one bedroom - its more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. nicely decorated, great bed, beautiful private garden and very secure. Its located in a trendy area with lots of restaurants withi walking distance. HIghly recommended!

The Guesthouse is unlike the stereotypical B&B experience. There are no other guest rooms so privacy is heightened. It is located in the heart of Uptown- a very walkable neighborhood- chock full of restaurants and close to the historic M line trolley (free too!) which connects to the local rapid transit (you literally could leave your car parked- for free!-... The Allen Guesthouse is a very cozy, romantic hidden gem. Not only is this meditarrian/Spanish guesthouse amazing but it is tucked away in a great little neighborhood. We had sushi at one spot and then drinks and fish and chips at a cozy little pub next to that...all of this is right outside your little cozy space. The unique feature... More

The room is very beautiful and is well appointed. The bed is absolutely the most comfortable bed I have slept in away from home. The location is within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Breakfast is very good and I loved that we could have it delivered when it was best for us. Visiting for my 40th birthday I...
