My husband and I stayed at the Daisy Polk Inn for his birthday last weekend and we absolutely loved it. We stayed in the little cottage behind the main house and one of our friends stayed in another one of the 3 bedrooms in the cottage. It was perfect because we had our own separate spaces but we were also... More

I thought I reviewed this place just after I stayed there but my review not showing up so I'm doing it again. I have just finished a three month driving tour of the USA crossing through the southern states, from Charleston to LA to Portland to New England and finally New York. The Daisy Polk, by a long chalk was... More

The Daisy Polk Inn is as warm and welcoming as coming home. Wayne obviously takes great pride in his establishment, and rightly so. From the minute he opened the front door, his familiar demeanor had me convinced he must be from New Orleans. Almost as soon as I arrived, he made arrangements for me at a lovely restaurant down the... More

My husband and I were taking a quick 1 night stay to reconnect and The Daisy Polk was a perfect choice. We liked that it was close enough to downtown but not too close. The inn was clean and well decorated with excellent accommodations. Mike was extremely welcoming and knowledgable of things to do in the area which helped us... More

This was an incredible place to stay. I am a Dallas native and never knew about this gem. The place was cozy, had a lot of history, and was full of Southern hospitality. I didn't find this anywhere when I was researching the place, but it is super LGBTQ friendly. The inn keepers are very interesting and charming people. The... More

My friend and I were in Dallas in May for a weekend of shopping and partying and decided to give the Daisy Polk a try. It was so convenient to the gay scene and our room was private and comfortable! The breakfast served up at the main house was delicious. Wayne and Patrick were marvelous hosts and we plan to... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Daisy Polk Inn over the Memorial Day week-end. We had never previously stayed at the Inn and booked a room sight-unseen, other than the website photos, one day before arrival. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the Inn is. Patrick cordially greeted us, gave us a brief history of the Inn, and... More

I wanted something different from the standard hotels I usually stay in when on travel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Inn while attending a conference at the Convention Center. Transportation to and from downtown Dallas was very easy. The room was comfortable and quiet. Wi-Fi and cable were much better than I would have gotten in a hotel.
