I was traveling with 11 y.o. son, just for fun. Best part for us was the infinity pool and large hot tub. For whatever reason (perhaps the recent changeover from Klimpton), both times we went to the pool, we were the only swimmers. Just beautiful! Clean, covered cabana area with plenty of plush yellow towels. Best hotel pool/spa experience ever!... More

Have not been to this hotel for several years and pleased to see if is part of Hilton. Welcoming staff and large, well equipped rooms. Very clean!!! Knife - best dinner from my weekend in Dallas. Did not like the 105" outside temperature but it made the beautiful pool so welcome at the end of the day. LOVE Highland!!

Great hotel, well located if you want to be near downtown but don't want all the noise of the city. Easy access to 75 highway. Staff very friendly and helpful with all our needs. Very comfortable and clean rooms.

So glad to have found this hotel on the HHonors App. The hotel was fantastic and it's onsite restaurant, Knife is amazing! Hilton was lacking in the Dallas market, and this hotel is a welcome addition. The location is fantastic. The lobby area is W-esque with music and an ultra contemporary feel. The staff was very friendly, but was not... More

The employees I knew from Kimpton management worked hard to please- -these same employees are not inspired/polite/ exerting their most enthusiastic personality & care. I hope Hilton takes care to respect their experienced employees. There are a lot of great people here now that can serve Hilton owned The Highland Hotel well. Show some respect for experienced hotel personnel .

This hotel recently changed from a Kimpton hotel to a Hilton. I made my reservations months ago but was not notified of the change & they would not honor the perks I would have had when it was a Kimpton. They did not even show my reservation in their system. Glad I had a copy with me. The room was... More

I enjoyed the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the new restaurant and bar had a great energy. The only bad point was my visit to the spa. The spa needs some attention. The towels are dingy and stringy, the rooms are stuffy and the services were disappointing. The room is a great size and offers a mini bar... More

This is a nice hotel. For a four star the room was a little small, but adequate. The decor was cutting edge about ten years ago. You have to valet park your car which gets a little tiresome. The location is fantastic. It is convenient to downtown, uptown, SMU etc. The only restaurant in the hotel is an upscale steak... More

Being a native Dallasite I remember when this hotel was run down. Now they have redone it with a very high end vibe. However, the hotel is less than impressive. The rooms are still very small. They are also not very nice. I think the remodel of the rooms involved new sheets and a flat screen TV. If you are... More

Nice but small room. A boutique like hotel with complimentary wine & beer in the lobby in the afternoon and complimentary coffee & tea in the mornings. Bikes to loan (if you dare ride a bike in uptown Dallas) Only issue was retrieving some left clothing. It took 3 phone calls, and 3 messages left for housekeeping, none of which... More
