I was nervous about my choice because it is off the beaten path where I normally stay in Dallas. I come here twice a year for the gift show at the world trade center. However, the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful from the front desk staff, room service staff, valet and shuttle drivers to the wait staff at the... more

Stayed at the Belmont this past weekend or one night and really enjoyed the place. Modern renovated motel court in a convenient location. Did not get to eat next door, but did eat down the street at Norma's Cafe, great breakfast. The Belmont was quiet, and well designed. My only complaint is that of parking-must use valet or park nextdoor.... more

My husband and I stayed at The Belmont for a friends 50th Birthday Party. We wer e in room 49 but the party was held in suite 51. Our room was a little stark. The bed was ok but the dark blanket at the end of the bed was stained and had to be removed. The view from that room... more

I planned a stay at the Belmont Hotel thinking it would be outside the typical hotel mold and a unique experience. Well, it was unique alright, and a mistake I will never make again. I don't know how this place gets away with charging more than $60 a night. The room was poorly insulated so you could hear the neighbors... more

I stayed 2 nights at the Belmont on recommendation from our Dallas-based employee. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant has excellent food at a reasonable price. This is a 40's era hotel that was renovated and has some quirks. My room was reasonably quiet but I could imagine if the hotel was full this could... more

What a refreshing "blast from the past." My husband and I stayed at the Belmont during the Texas/Oklahoma game weekend, on October 11th. The hotel was booked to capacity (note to self: book early for next year's game). This was our first stay at the Belmont, and we loved the hotel. Because of events related to the State Fair and... more

My daughter was recently married at The Belmont near the pool with a breathtaking view of downtown Dallas. The entire hotel staff especially Mason (the event planner) went above and beyond my expectations from planning, setting up, serving, cleaning and packing up all decorations afterwards so I could sit, relax and enjoy the guests. I would very highly recommend The... more

First and foremost, we almost didn't book the Belmont based on some of the reviews about the neighborhood it is in... Give me a break! I've seen scary neighborhoods and this is NOT one. Besides, the hotel is secluded. Upon arrival, the valet knew who we were and which room we'd be in.. He was great. Front desk was great.... more

My wife stays at the Belmont often when she is in Dallas. She has a much more free spirit then me, so I wanted to check it out. I found the hotel to be a lot of fun. The pool and bar are fantastic. It is great for people watching. Everyone was friendly. The restaurant was great. Rooms were ok.... more

I made reservations for a "deluxe room" at a rate of $120 per night. I found our room to be small and claustrophic. The one chair and two tables in the room were plastic patio type furniture, not the least comfortable for sitting and talking or watching television. In addition to the room, there was a screened porch next door.... more
