I was just there a couple of weeks back (September 28-30th) and was in room 1519. I absolutely loved it. Initially, I had a room with a view of the atrium and requested a city view. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was exceptional and the breakfast buffet the next morning was great. The night before I sat at the... more

Valet & bellmen were nice upon arrival. Parking was $22.00 plus tax! A bit modern but outdated business atmosphere inside. We used Starwood points to stay, otherwise probably wouldn't have only because of the price. It was convenient and close to the Dart system tram that we took to the State Fair. Our room was on the 12th floor- inside... more

This is too bad for this hotel because it was actually an ok stay. But the day I checked out, I forgot to empty one of the drawers. It happened to have some of my favorite clothes inside but as I was walking into my memeting (literally less than an hour later) I realized what had happened and I called... more

I'm a SPG and always enjoy staying with the hotel line. I booked my room online only a day in advance, and the room we got was great. I was on a SPG Floor and the huge wall of windows faced inside the Plaza of the Americas. I didn't check in until around 9pm and after going upstairs to put... more

The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely appointed with new furnishings. Hotel staff was nice and quite helpful although at times they didn't respond quickly to my concerns. The hotel lobby and dining area are adequate although I found the decor to be slightly outdated. The shop within the hotel seemed to always be closed (maybe it stays... more

The stay was not really what I had expected. The street noise and the noise from the ice rink at very odd times kept me awake all through the night. the "Heavenly Bed" is not so heavenly. The room was nice and spacious and the amenities were quite nice. I stayed in the area because of work, but looking back,... more

We are starwood platinum and received and upgrade to junior suite. The staff at desk was polite and we quickly went up to our room. The trouble started before we even got in. The door was kicked and scuffed at the bottom. The room was large but very dark only one small window. As I looked around I thought motel... more

I booked this trip through hotwire, so imagine my delight when I arrived to find an ice-skating rink in the hotel!! In Dallas, Texas! It was like waking up Christmas morning expecting a nice warm pair of wool socks and getting the socks and a safari! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Perfect in all ways.... more

On my first-ever trip to Dallas, this hotel really fit my needs. For starters, I was going mostly to see the King Tut exhibition at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) and the Sixth Street Museum in the West End area of Dallas. Also, I had no intention of renting a car. The Westin is in the Arts District of... more
