The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely appointed with new furnishings. Hotel staff was nice and quite helpful although at times they didn't respond quickly to my concerns. The hotel lobby and dining area are adequate although I found the decor to be slightly outdated. The shop within the hotel seemed to always be closed (maybe it stays... more

The stay was not really what I had expected. The street noise and the noise from the ice rink at very odd times kept me awake all through the night. the "Heavenly Bed" is not so heavenly. The room was nice and spacious and the amenities were quite nice. I stayed in the area because of work, but looking back,... more

We are starwood platinum and received and upgrade to junior suite. The staff at desk was polite and we quickly went up to our room. The trouble started before we even got in. The door was kicked and scuffed at the bottom. The room was large but very dark only one small window. As I looked around I thought motel... more

This was a business trip for my husband, leisure for myself. I was very impressed with every part of the Westin City Center hotel. I had never been to TX before & think this location is perfect for those that want to visit the many wonderful places Dallas has to offer. We walked all over the area and also enjoyed... more

I booked this trip through hotwire, so imagine my delight when I arrived to find an ice-skating rink in the hotel!! In Dallas, Texas! It was like waking up Christmas morning expecting a nice warm pair of wool socks and getting the socks and a safari! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Perfect in all ways.... more

On my first-ever trip to Dallas, this hotel really fit my needs. For starters, I was going mostly to see the King Tut exhibition at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) and the Sixth Street Museum in the West End area of Dallas. Also, I had no intention of renting a car. The Westin is in the Arts District of... more

We just got back from the Westin City Center. The rooms were a nice large size with a comfortable bed and very clean bathrooms. The hotel has an ice skating rink (if you bring the kids) and is close to everything dowtown. The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The bath supplies are a wonderful white... more

I was in Dallas for business in December 2008. Check-in was easy and quick, and they accommodated an early check in. They also told me how to walk through the skywalks to the office building where I was having my meetings. The room was functional. I was a little frustrated that they only brought a laundry bag for the first... more

Booked through Priceline for New Year's Eve. Location worked well to take train to West End / Victory Plaza / Stars game. Check in was uneventful, valet parked the car. Valet was backed up, but no big trouble. He did give us a heads up that it would probably be 20 - 30 minutes the next morning, so that helped.... more

Our hotel room in the Westin was very nice, and probably worthy of four stars. However, the hotel is attached to the very tacky and dated "Plaza of the Americas" in the dead and boring downtown area of Dallas. Probably this is a great choice if you're staying for business, but we were just having two nights in Dallas while... more
