Lovely staff, well appointed hotel with a fun industrial vibe. Room was huge (I think a junior suite... #730) and had a great view out to the park and convention center. Parking was reasonable at $10 day We got dinner from the bar (no room service, but all you have to do is go to the bar and order, they... More

Traveling with 3 kids (15,12&9) is difficult especially on a budget. Add a half marathon and it turns into an experience! Aloft was chosen because downtown and close to start line. Rooms are designed to look undone, very New York loft like. Staff accommodated out request for adjoining rooms with a smile! Decent workout room, free wifi, and a small... More

Comfortable, cozy room. We stayed here for the weekend of Walker Stalker con. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating! Loved everything about our stay! Liked that fresh fruit was available daily. We were close enough to convention center that we walked over. Stopped to see the sculptures @ Pioneer Plaza.

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for one night in February. I chose this hotel for it's location; I was in Dallas watching some friends play in Battle of the Bands and this hotel was close to the venue. Parking was cheap, $10 I think. Breakfast was not complimentary at the hotel, but we chose to eat there... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I was very disappointed in this hotel. At @29 per night i expected much more. Our rooms were never cleaned until 4-5 in the afternoon which happened to be the only time we had between sessions. Our room was drafty and cold from the old windows. There was no shuttle service... Room was ok...no amenities though. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner because all they have is a two in one in the shower. No restaurant but you can order some food from the bar, nothing very good and there is no room service so you will have to go downstairs and get it yourself. Forgot something at home? Too bad... I've stay at the Downtown aLoft several times over the last six months. It tends to be the cheapest nice hotel in downtown Dallas I can find. The rooms are big with a typical aLoft industrial feel. The bar and bar food are great. I would definitely recommend it for business travel. The suites would work well for a family... More

I stayed here for an event at the convention center and it is a three minute walk to the convention center. The lobby is extremely comfortable and offers good WiFi. However, don't expect much in the way of food (there is small area with chips and prepackaged hot pockets and similar foods). The bar doesn't seem to be open all... More

We've stayed in Aloft hotels before and understand the concept of clean, minimal design with cool hanging out space. With a few tweaks, this could be a real value for the money. The location is really good if you are attending an event at the Convention Center, but it's pretty far from the Arts District and restaurants. A do-able walk,... More

This is a great go to spot in downtown Dallas - and typically reasonably priced. Rooms are always clean and staff very attentive and personable. The Eats section should be viewed as a convenience and not relied upon to provide great entrées. Packaged foods, fruit, energy bars, drinks and some "made to order" breakfast sandwiches.
