My mom and I went to The Stoneleigh as our end of our vacation spot. First off, there was nothing around for her and I today. I am too young to drink and so nightlife was out. Anyway, we spent most of our time in the room, and then had to leave so they could turn down our beds. No... more

I was anticipating a wonderful experience from the reviews I read, unfortunately it did not even come close to my lowest expectations. First impression, the person checking us in seemed indifferent and not too excited to see us. The first thing he said was, "I will have to check to see if there are any rooms ready yet", something no... more

When we arrived to the Hotel on a Friday afternoon, we were greated by a very polite gentleman/valet, who walked us in with our luggage. I wish I remembered his name...Glenn??? When my friend and I checked in, the front desk knew who we were and greeted us by name. It made me feel like I was in the Ritz.... more

We absolutely loved our experience at the Stoneleigh, and wished we could have stayed another couple of nights. From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out, the service was excellent - attentive, but not overbearing. The rooms were very clean, bathrooms of a good size for this type of hotel, very large closet, nice flat-screen TV,... more

I use TripAdvisor and all the wonderful great reviews to choose this hotel in the first place, so I don't really think I'll add anything new that you have read elsewhere in these reviews. We arrived late in the afternoon and were greeted by a very courteous valet. Our bags were taken directly to lobby and as we checked in... more

WOW! This hotel is really gorgeous, the rooms are immaculate, the service excellent and the history - so interesting! We only stayed one night but it was wonderful! Also the Bolla restaurant made the most delicious brekkie. Try the signature blueberry pancakes YUM! more

We have stayed once before this last trip at the Stoneleigh and loved it. It must be noted that we usually stay at Ritz Caltons if they are available because we love the personal touches. This time we were rushing to a family event and decided to take a break and spend the night with the hotel in Dallas. Mind... more

A nice renovation spoiled by the failure to double glaze the windows. Every car, truck, and motorcycle that passes the hotel is clearly audible in the guest rooms. In addition, the hotel is on one of the approaches to Love Field, so plane noise is a problem until that facility closes around 11 PM. But, worst of all is the... more

My husband and I live in Fort Worth and go to Dallas every wedding anniversary for a quick getaway. We normally stay at Hotel Zaza but after reading about the recent renovations to the Stoneleigh and comparing rates we decided to give this 1923 hotel a try. We were immediately impressed upon entering the hotel. The decor was very nice,... more

We checked in on April 18 for a one night stay. The concierge, Anthony, was very nice and helpful - he took us on a short tour of the hotel, pointing out the historical aspects we would find interesting. Later, he helped us get directions to a wedding and reception site - and offered to have the hotel driver take... more
