We stayed her for only one night over the weekend and it was fine. I have wanted to stay here my entire life. The hotel is very outdated, but it goes with theme of the hotel, it didn't bother us at all. I will say that it was bummer that the bar didn't serve any food after 10pm, that seems... More

The Adolphus Hotel is a wonderful hotel to stay at during a visit to Dallas. I was on a business trip and my wife and daughter had a wonderful time relaxing in our beautiful large hotel room; the hotel provided them a courtesy ride ( anywhere within a 3 mile radius) to and from the hotel to the Aquarium, the... I stayed at the Adolphus during the week of August 17, 2014. Overall, the stay was just below average because of the sub par lodging. My room was outdated. Titles were missing where the rug meets the wall. Warm water came out of cold faucet. Needless to say, brushing my teeth wasn't a pleasant experience. The lighting in the room... More

This was my second stay at the Adolphus and both have been stellar. The staff is second to none and I saw many familiar faces even those our trips were 7 months apart. Yes, the hotel is old (I prefer Classic!) and could use some updates (in progress!) but I think it adds to the charm of the hotel. The... More

Very friendly staff make this unique hotel even more pleasurable. Rooms are large, very well appointed and generously decorated. Breakfast at the lobby bar is awesome, due in part to the fantastic servers who stand ready to meet your culinary expectations, no matter how strange. When I asked about bananas and cream, even though it wasn't on the menu. It... More

If you want an extravagant stay at a truly remarkable hotel, Adolphus is it! An "old world" feel, yet the rooms are current and classy. Nothing stuffy about this Dallas classic. We stayed in one of the terrace suites on the 11th floor and it was amazing! The terrace was huge and large enough for us to contemplate hosting a... More

The most easy check in and check ever! Courteous staff, friendly and helpful, especially Shane and Jimmy! The bed was so comfortable, i hated to go to work. Please drink a Texas Tea in the Rodeo restaurant. you will need only one, smooth as silk tasting and powerful!

Weekend stay for the first time at this hotel. Great deal via Priceline which was a nice surprise. The room was large and clean. It is a bit outdated as previously mentioned, however, it seems to go with the feel of choosing an older hotel and didn't bother us. The staff was great and very helpful and responsive to us.... Everything is first class even with a Travelzoo coupon so we didn't pay full price. They go out of their way to treat everyone like royalty and do it with a smile like they actually don't mind doing it. The old yet modern hotel is beautiful. The lobby is worth coming by to walk through, stunning. The beds in the... More

I stayed at the Adolphus for a week in October 2013. The exterior of this historic hotel is very nice. However, I couldn't say the same about the rooms. My room was spacious (I had an executive suite) but very outdated. However, I must say that the staff provides great service. When I checked in, I had a fruit platter... More
