4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia. The room and bathroom were excellent, and very clean. We enjoyed the evening cocktails and nightime cookies and milk, as well as the breakfast. The hotel is well located in downtown Dallas, and we could walk to a lot of places.

I visited Dallas on a company project and was allocated rooms at the Magnolia Hotels. Its one of the oldest hotels in Dallas and has strived to keep up with the times. A decent stay with a comfortable bed and good facilities. The valet service was a boon! My only crib is about the lift being too old and creaks... More

Very dirty rooms! But most of all the valet people broke my car door handle and literally tried to glue it back on, like I wouldn't notice. It had wet glue or something wet and white all on it when I tried to open it the handle came off in my hand. Valet said they didn't do it and hotel... More

Overall a very good experience. Rooms are a little dark, the elevators a little slow, and the breakfast could have been a little more extensive then eggs, potatoes, and biscuits but overall a very nice stay. I highly recommend using the valet service (which was great) because parking in downtown Dallas completely sucks (it's well worth $24 not having to... More

i needed to take the freight elevator as the customer elevator was not in service one evening. when they were in service they are surprisingly S L O W. The music in the common areas is just too loud and the temperature in the common areas is just too cold. ah, room service; ordered wine and food. ten minutes later... More

This was the best hotel stay that I have ever had & I have traveled extensive ly. I received first class service from the moment I drove up to valet parking to check in until the moment I departed! The staff was excellent, my room was spacious and modern, and the amenities were very nice. I will definitely stay here... More

Stayed here for business as hotel is conveniently located next to our office. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable and dark. It was an inside room with no view. The darkness and the fact there is not a pool were the only things I would improve. The staff was polite and helpful. I liked the fact there is a free shuttle... More

Did like the Valet parking which made it much nicer to check in, Lobby was very nice and enjoyed the free Wi-Fi. Suite was dark and in need of some cleaning, carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for a few days, trash in the kitchen was not picked up from the previous guests. Housekeeping did come by the next... More

The Magnolia is convenient to my office when I come to Dallas as well as to a large variety of eating options. Breakfast is a real convenience and the warm smile and hello from the waitstaff and valet service who always hold the door helps to start the day off with a lift.

The Magnolia is an average hotel attempting to be a chic boutique hotel and they just aren't there. The rooms are dark, the bathrooms in need of remodeling with cracked tiles and the bar tender needing training. The shuttle is a nice service and the driver friendly though had trouble finding places. The elevators are painfully slow, though signs said... More
