The breakfast buffet was complete (no powdered eggs or other shortcuts), happy hour complementary drinks were greatly appreciated, my internet connection was extremely fast and the laundry facility was very welcomed for a two week stay. All personnel who I interacted with were attentive and gracious. Lots of sights within walking distance, and a hotel shuttle was availble for a... More

Bellmen, Desk Clerks, Maids all very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. this is an old hotel but very convenient location. There is complimentary full breakfast. also a real plus. You can;t go wrong here, unless you need a swimming pool. We were too busy.Oh yes, there is fresh cookies and milk available at night. Nice.

I love this hotel. I've stayed there twice. The building is beautiful and historical (it's the old Mobil Oil Company building and still has the Pegasus on top). My sister thought the room was cramped, but I found it cozy. The elevators are slow and with 27 floors, there will be a long wait during the morning and evening rush.... More

We stayed here two nights when one of us had a high school reunion. The main event was scheduled downtown, and the hotel was within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is the old Mobile office building that was remodeled into a hotel. Thus the "flying red horse" theme. Our room was on the 29th floor, well away from street... More

The hotel was nice enough, and the location was excellent if you are staying for an event downtown. However, their valet parking service was completely inefficient at best. If you are on a schedule, I do not recommend using their valet service. I was late for my event because it took them over 45 minutes to retrieve my car.

We had a wonderful two-night stay! We were able to walk to several attractions and shops and definitely restaurants! Valet service was always quick and easy when we needed the car! The hotel makes everything convenient and easy... from breakfast to cookies at night. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable.... More

Stayed here for a convention August 12 - 17, 2014. Pleasantly greeted by front desk staff and moved smoothly through check in process. Beautiful older historic building converted into hotel (made very obvious by SLOW elevators and when entering my room). Room was awkward size and somewhat small with very outdated furnishings. Best part of stay: Drink tickets for happy... More

Stayed here for a business meeting in downtown Dallas. This small hotel is beautifully appointed but the pillows were full and stiff. Lots of pillows on the bed, but all were the same. I couldn't fall asleep quickly or stay asleep. My recommendation would be that management offer a variety of pillow options to choose from.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms are not quite as big as a modern hotel but they are big enough. I have been to Dallas multiple times this summer to Dr's at Baylor Cancer Center. I have stayed at several downtown hotels. For the price and location, this one competes well. I paid $159.00 for a... More

Our first time in Dallas and the Magnolia did not disappoint us. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the room was clean and quiet at night. Free wifi and free breakfast was a bonus. I would stay here again without hesitation..
