This was our second stay here. Dalhart is halfway between my parents and us so we meet there to do a "kid exchange" when my son is visiting his grandparents. We prefer the Best Western Nursanickle on the other side of town but the train noise is just too much there anymore. Clean shabby rooms with very loud a/c units.... more

Super8 was just "OK." The room itself was non-smoking and on the ground floor. I did not smell smoke in the room. The bed was firm and comfortable which we like and the room was OK, not new or even recently renovated...I'd call it well-used and just OK for a quick stop. The bathroom was clean and everything worked fine.... more

I visited many Super 8s on my recent trip and this one was just like so many others. It had all the usual amenities and was neither very good nor very bad. It was an excellent value. more

If you are driving from Texas to Colorado, Dalhart is a good stopping point, and the Super 8 is a great option if you just need to sleep.
