We stayed a couple of nights and loved it. We seek out historic hotels in Texas, read up on all the past and it makes the stay even more enjoyable. Now this is NOT the Holiday Inn, so if you are looking for that type of stay, don't bother. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, breakfast was VERY GOOD, the... More

We left Lubbock much too late and decided to stop when we saw a hotel in Crosbyton, but hoped out loud for a B&B. Low and behold, there was the Smith House. A 1920's rooming house. Under new management. Good selection of vintage rooms with and without bath. Quiet! Great hosts. A quite enjoyable stop when doing the Texas canyons tour.
