We recently visit Concan during the week of August 14, 2014 through August 18, 2014. My young daughters and I went on a trail ride via horseback by Neal's lodges. The cowboy-Adrian Rodriguez did a wonderful job teaching us how to ride and took great care of some of the very young children that were being led on the horses.... More

It was a blast!! Adrian was very kind and patient and Garrett was very handsome, funny, and helpful. The trail was easy to follow and the horses were beautiful and very well tamed. I fell in love with my horse; Romeo! I'm totally look forward to going back next year!

The pros: The camp had spectacular views. The a/c units worked well. The bbq pit was clean and worked well. The nearby restaurant had great food. The cons: The camp smelled TERRIBLE! The bleach used to sterilize the interior did not do enough to begin to mask the foul odor. The dishes and utensils were dirty and there were not... More

Our family normally does a float trip every summer in New Braunfels, but we decided to try Concan this year. We were able to secure a RV spot at Neal's and weren't disappointed. Neal's doesn't have many RV spots, as cabins seem to be the most popular. We were in RV slot #2, directly across from the shower and restrooms.... More

If you want a place to take your kids and enjoy the outdoors. Neal's is that place!! The cell phones do not work, unless you have AT&T. And we do not!! We can take walks see the bird, swim and ride horses. We took 10 kids from the age of 9 to 18 and all of them had a great... More

We traveled to Neal's this weekend with three kids, aged 15, 6, and 8, to camp and everyone had a blast. The kids loved the slide and the very family friendly dance at Jimmy Joe's and horseback riding was great. Mr. Rodriguez and Garrett did a wonderful job explaining expectations for the trail ride to everyone and Mr. Rodriguez did... More

We rented the Buckhorn Lodge which had 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. It also had a private swimming pool which was clean and well maintained with a nice protective fence all the way around it. They built a beautiful stone firepit with seating on the opposite side of the house that was also nice; I only wish it was within... More

My boys and I ventured up to Neal's for the first time. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in Cabin #2. This is probably one of the oldest and smallest cabins on the property. It was clean and comfortable for the three of us. It had a small television which was sufficient. The kitchen was stocked with some utensils... More

Went to Neal's to go on the horse back ride. Had a great trip with wonderful horses! Guides were nice enough to shoo away the wild hog and skunks to keep the horses from getting spooked. Thanks for a great ride!
