It looks nothing like the pictures on the Internet. The general condition of the hotel is dilapidated. The rooms need painting and they are dark and dingy. The room smelled and when they cleaned the room they didn't leave fresh towels or soap. We had to ask for it. With the cost of the room I really expected a nicer hotel. I would not stay here again.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed one night for Texas A&M Parent's weekend on Apr-9-06. We paid $146 (tax included) for a room that I would say has a normal value of $40 or less. We had to flee from Hurrican Rita from Beaumont. The staff was very friendly. The room we stayed in was the room with the two queen size beds. The room where we stayed at was in the courtyard. This was easily acessible to get the the swimming pool. I plan to come back here again.

The rooms vary in size. Ours was so small that two double beds took up the entire room. The doors did not shut or lock properly. We had booked several rooms. One room had a distinct sewage smell. There are many nice hotels/motels in College Station. I would not stay there again.

A friend and I stayed at the Howard Johnson on August 10, 2005. At check in the man at the front desk was very helpful. As usual, hotels are sold out and overpriced on football weekends in College Station. Nevertheless, this hotel was very disappointing, with uncomfortable beds and less than ideal cleanliness.
