The Screen Porch Bed and Breakfast (SP B&B) offers the discerning traveler a bed and breakfast lodging experience that pairs home town charm with big city sophistication. From the moment you walk into the inviting and well-appointed “greeting room” (describing the space as a lobby would do an injustice to the appealing warmth of the space) you are welcomed by... More

Very cute B&B in small town Texas. A lot of care was put into creating the space. The owners are very nice and rooms very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to make sure every room had an iron. Will definitely stay here again in my next trip.

Each year I surprise my wife with a stay at a different bed and breakfast for our anniversary weekend. This year, because of my wife's Norwegian heritage, we headed to Clifton, TX. Saw the Screen Door mentioned in Texas Highway magazine and made reservations. Great stay in a completely resurrected historic building. The amount of work that went into fixing... More

I very much enjoyed our stay. Bed was super comfortable and the room was beautiful. I must admit that when I first saw the screen doors on all the rooms I thought, "what an odd addition"... until I learned that all the screen doors are original and were used when the building was a boarding house once upon a time.... We recently stayed at the Screen Door Inn when visiting family in Clifton. What a gem!! We stayed in Jennie's Garden. Our room was just beautiful. I want a room like that for our master bedroom at home! It was extremely spacious and had beautiful antiques. The shower was large. The bed was amazingly comfortable. LOVE the sheets. They were... My daughter and I decided to explore Bosque County after reading an article in Texas Highways magazine and we stayed at the Screen Door Inn. Rena, Tonya, and Michelle definitely have the gift of hospitality! We stayed in the Lone Star room and honestly the pictures on the website do not do justice at all to this B&B. Our breakfast... My sister & I stayed 3 nights in this quaint B&B . We stayed in Bosque room, which had a king bed & all the comforts. Our breakfast was served in the Somethings Brewing Bristo right next door & was a great way to start our day. I would suggest having a sleep mask, as the room is a bit... More

My wife and I stopped in Clifton to visit relatives and stayed at this charming B+B. Tonya Tunnell, the proprietress, was warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. The only unusual thing is that she is not on the premises. Rather, she gives you a key to the front door and you're free to come and go... More

My husband and I recently came back from a visit to Clifton to see family. It was our first time to stay at the Screen Door Inn. It is a very charming place to stay, extremely comfortable with all the amenities of home, there is even a fan mounted on the wall. We were extremely impressed and will stay again... More
