It's August in Texas, hotter than you know what, and we wanted to get away from it all. Unfortunately circumstances prevented a trip to cooler climes. Instead, we spent 3 nights with the grandkids (boy 12 and girl 9) at the Hyatt Lost Pines, Aug 5 - 8. Our granddaughter had a broken foot casted nearly to her knee, but... More

My children and I just returned from a 5 night stay at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort. We all had a fun, relaxing time. There is plenty to do at this resort, for both adults and children. I took advantage of the web check-in before driving to the resort. I received an SMS when our room was ready, which was... More

Overall this is a great place to stay. When you stay here you get the full resort experience. I booked a balcony/regency room. Getting a hypo-allergenic room was a nice surprise and bonus. The water slide, lazy river and beach were awesome. My children enjoyed the crafts and activities provided by the staff. I have read reviews about prices being... More

I surprised my family, Scott (husband), Kylie (17) and Gracie (10) by taking them to the Hyatt Lost Pines on August 2. We could only do one night due to us going to Lake Travis Zip Adventures the next morning. Wow, how I wish we could have stayed longer. But rest assure, we will be back- for a couples trip... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time. We knew ahead of time that the pool is the main attraction (this was our fourth visit) and with it being summer, we knew kids would be everywhere! We emailed ahead and asked for a quiet room, near the pool (which we paid extra to be closer to the pool) and the... More

Unfortunately, my stay was only one night, but it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious and amazingly quiet. Pillows and bed were condusive to a great night's sleep. The staff in the restaurants were very helpful and attentive. Food was great. The grounds were well manicured and there was something interesting around every corner. Will stay again if... More

This was the first vacation for my husband with our twin infants (4 1/2) months. We went with my mother, brother, and his wife and 3 kids (ages 7, 4, and 2) for 3 nights/4 days. We all arrived between 4-6pm on a Friday. The valet area was a little crowded, but the self park area is a bit far... More

This year our family decided to stay near home for our vacation since we traveled cross country last year. Lost Pines is approx an 1 1/2 hours from San Antonio and that made our travel time easy and affordable. I stayed here for an advisory board meeting. I was surrounded by families with tons of kids. I would have liked this place if I had been there with my husband and kids but being there for business was disconcerting. The food is at a Outback Steak House level. It is very crowded. You must make dinner reservations ahead of... More

On behalf of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa, we would like to thank you for your review. While it is true that when the kiddos are out of school, we are a family hot spot.
