Had a great time, service is outstanding staff is great. The Lazy-river is wonderful. The pool area is nice, you can go with a lover or with you family, there are activities for all ages. There is a lot of activities on this resort. The food is excellent and there are at least five locations to eat.

A rustic setting, but may not be the most relaxing experience as young children or children unattended disrupt any tranquility. There are limited options to eat, coupled with food quality that is subpar.

On a recent business trip my wife and I stayed at the resort for three nights. Overall the property was very nice. The buildings and landscape were attended to and looked fabulous. The staff was incredibly attentive. We had a last minute change of departure and each person who assisted us with this change was friendly and eager to help.... More

My family had high hopes for this trip, only to feel as though we were in an overbooked, overpriced resort, their were ants in the pools with wings so it was impossible to swim without getting bit, a bunch of drunk parents that let their kids run wild, kids running, screaming in the halls at 11pm at night outside our... My visit was a golf getaway with my son, and that was great; it was also a scouting expedition for a family reunion location. There is a LOT to do for families with children of all ages, and also for adults. Great location; nice setting on the river; good to be in touch with the outdoors so naturally. Food and... More

It is a good resort for a family vacation. But for the price, it could be better. The prices are high, especially for dining. The pool is not kept clean of insects. The rooms seem a little dated. The menu is boring and doesn't change much. The service is very good all around.

Lost Pines in Bastrop, TX is a wonderful place for families to play and reconnect with each other. It is beautiful with all of the natural gardens and atmosphere. The pool has plenty to entertain with the lazy river, water slide, pool with the volleyball net, and hot tub. Outside the pool there are horse shoe pits, tether ball, soccer... More

I would recommend this hotel for family, friends or just a getaway. The hotel is tucked away from everything, just peaceful and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and courteous. My kids are ready to go back.

Lost Pines is the perfect get away for a "lodge" feel with great outdoor amenities. Kids love it with enough activities throughout the day to keep them busy. Golf course is awesome and we enjoyed the horseback riding.

Very dissappointing. for $400 a night in Bastrop, TX I expect more. Expensive with lousy restaurants and incredibly crowded. The property is very nice but the execution is very bad. Website doesn't inform you of a lot of restrictions. Maids didn't come until 5:00 while while we were getting ready for a bad dinner. $24 dollar buffet.
