We have gone to Lost Pines with my husband's family for the last 4-5 years. It is always a good time. We have taken kids from infant to teenage and there is always something for everyone to do. Don't let the high cost of the room scare you away, instead look it as the cost of your room and entertainment... More

What a Suprise to find such a "well hidden" Resort so close to a major metropolitan area (Austin, Texas) and right off a route I take frequently??? Everything you can imagine is there! From Horseback riding, Golf, Tennis and all of the usual ammenities to Kayaking, River Floating, Paddle boards in the river, fishing Trap shooting, Stargazing, Hawk and Raptor... More

We just spent 4 nights there. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained and the service is great. My 10 year old daughter loved it there and didn't complain or utter the "b" word (bored) even one time, even though I insisted that this be an "electronic-free vacation". There were so many free, on sight activities- we all loved meeting... More

Let me start by saying that it breaks my heart that I have to rate this place the way I do. I had been looking forward to this vacation with my family for months...but one thing after another made us very disappointed. 1. This resort is NOT a place for a family vacation if your kids are under 5. Most... More

I can't say enough about this place. My first visit was a solo retreat and I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. My King room was well appointed and very clean. Turn down service...you name it. Lost Pines caters to families but they have an adult only area with a great pool that connects to the lazy river. I... More

This hotel is such a nice getaway, just 40 minutes from home--door to door--but it feels like it is in a whole other state. The hotel's location is so great and hidden, but still luxurious. Everyone is very nice and friendly that works here (Elvia and Paulina at the front desk especially), and the lazy river is just the best.... More

This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed at. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and loved it so much we booked again a month later to take our kids back! The grounds are well kept and the staff is extremely friendly.

The resort is quite picturesque with friendly staff. I was honestly amazed at how well maintained the entire property was kept. The rooms are super clean and the beds live up to the Hyatt standards with an excellent nights sleep! The atmosphere is geared towards families, with a lazy river and water slides. If you want adventure - and don't... More

This is a great resort for families, couples getaways, golfers, spa-goers, and pretty much anyone who loves the wilderness and a luxe environment! There really is something for everyone, and it is my favorite getaway! We recently went on a quick getaway while visiting from overseas, and our only wish is that we could stay longer. We had quite a... More

This is a great resort for families. Took our son's family there this week for their summer vacation. So much to do for kids and a few things for grownups, too, including a fantastic golf course. The grandkids loved the water park and lazy river, playground, horses, and all the other great activities. The resort is conveniently located near Austin... More
