A great place whether young family, gathering of friends, or maybe a group to play golf, hike, ride horses, or relax. The Hyatt Lost Pines is east of Austin and off the highway, giving you some solitude, yet it is close enough to town if you want to go in for the day. Great restaurant, pool, golf, and activities. We... More

We loved our stay at the Hyatt, the golf course, grounds, trails, pools, evening somores by the firepit.... so much to offer for every age! The restaurants, room service, pool side drinks are expensive, but comparable to any other beautiful resort! The service was outstanding, beds are awesome. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room and patio, evidently... More

This was an enjoyable place, especially if you have elementary school age children. Our 17 year old enjoyed it, but it became a bit boring for her after the first day or two. Most of the activities were geared toward much younger kids, the horse back riding was not available due to illness among the horses, and most of the... More

This is a very nice resort property located on the outskirts of Austin about 10 miles from Bastrop. The property is remote and off the beaten path. We stayed the weekend of the Austin Gran Prix as it is about a 20 minute drive from the Circuit of the Americas track. Our room was very expensive, but I recognize that... More

Beautiful property. It is on 400 acres, and up against a national forest. There are 18 miles of hiking paths.. The pool is stunning. There is a waterfall and various side pools for wading and for those with kids. It also has an amazing pseudo river, that you can ride gently on top of an inner tube, while drinking a... More

This is a very nice property with beautiful acreage. It was developed by the same folks who built the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. There are distinct similarities between hotel floor plans. The front entrance is copied from the Hyatt Tamaya Resort in New Mexico. We stayed here on points when they were charging $600 a night because... More

Although not over till tomorrow jet lag has hold of me so I'm sitting in reception reflecting on a fantastic time here at the lost pines resort. Probably one of the best family hotels we've stayed in. Yes a little pricey, but you only get what you pay for. The staff were amazing , I read other reviews and cannot... More

Stayed here for a conference recently. Not sure if this would be my type of vacation normally, but the place was fabulous. Lots of activities but about 30 minutes outside of Austin. My room felt luxurious. I had a balcony with a view of the grounds. The food was excellent, but most of it was set up by the conference... More

Stayed at this resort for a conference and wouldn't go back. If you do stay here I recommend asking to not be placed in a room that overlooks the main center area off the lobby, it is very loud at night and no opportunity for opening a window to hear the peace and quiet, you search for at this hotel.... Where do I begin...you're greeting with individuals to take your bags to the room, check in is a breeze, and the rooms are great! The beds are heavenly and the shower is perfection as well. Each meal was great-some of it a little out of the ordinary but I really enjoy trying new things! The bar area was nice, drinks... More
