This is a beautiful resort nestled in the Texas hill country, about 20 minutes and a world away from Austin. It is an idyllic setting, abundant in natural beauty, along the banks of the lower Colorado river, with a beautiful golf course surrounding you. I traveled for business, and their meeting spaces easily handled our large and diverse group. The... More

I was at the Hyatt Lost Pines resort in August for a business conference. Check in was fast and friendly. In fact all employees that I spoke to or just said hi as we passed were very polite and friendly. I was upgraded without asking from a standard king room to a king suite. The suite was spacious and well... More

My husband and occasionally our granddaughter and myself have been coming here since it opened. Have always enjoyed this place. It's only on hour south of our house (Georgetown), but it seems a world away! It has beautiful butterfly gardens, long-horn steers, Colorado River, Lazy River, man-made beach, top notch restaurants. Oh, don't forget the campfires so you can make... More

I came here for a business meeting and the property is quiet, tranquil and beautiful. The pool could use some work (lots of patches on the walls and the bottom) with a lot of sand, debris and etc in the water. The service at the pool was so-so. Amber does not seem happy and/or confident with her position and it... More

My husband & I stayed at Lost Pines Resort for a conference this time, but would definitely return purely for the pleasure of it. It is a big beautiful resort with lots of activities, but with a calm, relaxing feel. It was very easy to have our dog there with us in one of the patio rooms. It is also... More

We were early celebrating my son's 11th birthday this past weekend (9/13) and despite the much needed rain, we had a nice time. I do agree with Chet2006 that the Resort does cater to families with young children; but I notice this more on the weekends than during the week (unless it is Summertime). You are somewhat trapped at the... More

I attended a conference at Hyatt Lost Pines and stayed with some colleagues. There were many things we enjoyed, such as fantastic catering for our meetings, peaceful courtyards, and restful beds. I was looking forward to taking advantage of some adventurous activities that had been advertised, like kayaking, horseback riding, and stargazing; however, the non-stop rain quickly eliminated those options.... Rooms are nicely appointed, and the food is above average for a large hotel. Combined with excellent outdoor facilities, golf course and fitness center, this is a great place for a business meeting or a weekend with friends or family.

What a gem of a place. One of the few places where all of our business needs were met and you could find peace and relaxation. The resort hosted a large set of internal meetings for the company I work for. The facilities and ammenities for this were wonderful as was the food that was served by the Lost Pines... More
