From the kindness of the staff, to the cleanliness of the whole resort, to the numerous kid and adult activities, this is undoubtedly one of the best places to take the family. Well worth a stay of several days.

I went here to attend a conference. The resort takes a little getting to as it's set back off the main roads quite a ways but worth the twisty drive in. The resort is spread out a bit and offers a lot to do. Sadly, it was pouring rain the 2 days I was there so we weren't able to... More

I just spent a few days at the Hyatt Lost Pines and was extremely surprised. Surprised because I only live 2.5 hours away and have driven by the resort for years but never really knew much about it. Its tucked away in the hill country just southeast of Austin,Texas and has something for just about everyone. So much to do... More

"discounted" rooms for wedding guests ~~~ wow for the amenities, eek for the discount. Nice grounds and wonderful things to do but the rooms and service are not special. It is a great venue for a wedding.

What a great place for a family weekend getaway. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly....the bellmen, front desk staff, bartender at the two wedding events we attended, banquets staff, s'mores team, Camp Hyatt counselor. There's so much to do for kids...highlights were Camp Hyatt, pool/slide/lazy river, and llamas in the lobby. The wedding venue (Pecan Terrace) was gorgeous, and... More

We stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a great place for family to get together and has activities everyone can enjoy. Staff is very friendly. There are lots of trees and pretty landscaping. The sitting areas by the lobby have big fireplaces and comfortable seating. The rooms and bathrooms were large, beautiful and comfortable. And... Stayed here while attending a wedding, he prices are sky high($400/night including taxes) and as such, you'd expect unbelievable service. That's not the case. the place actually appears to be either understaffed or under trained as it relates to great service. It's located in a unique place, but probably isn't worth the price.

Very nice resort and very geared toward families which was perfect for us. Lots of activities and very helpful staff. It was a little pricey for just two days and I even had a special bed & breakfast pkg. if you don't mind spending a little more, it is a great place.

We are currently on a vacation here and my advice would be if you are booked in cancel if the weather is bad. The horse riding is cancelled as the trails are washed away, the river is flooded so no rafting, the tractor rides are cancelled due to the rain, the pool is closed on and off all day due... More
