We just returned from our vacation at Lost Pines, and we already want to go back! Yes, it is pricey, but worth every penny! The staff is amazing! Saying they were friendly and at your service is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!! The activities were educational and top notch ( WARNING- Splash raft really means you will get soaked, and love it! )... This hotel is 30 minutes from Austin, TX. It a great place to go relax with family or without. The lazy river/pool is very popular with kids and teenagers. The waiters at the pool site at very attentive to any needs. Not a great place for groups. We took 22 cheerleaders and parents, made arrangements months before. We arrived and... More

We have been several times over the last 5 years. Great for families, a lot of activities. Many fun niche type things to do like take your picture sitting on a long horn or go on wagon ride in the fall. S'mores nightly and kids movie nightly in summer. Lazy river is nice, also small pool area with wading entrance... More

My family and I just returned from four days at Lost Pines Resort. We had a great family vacation, although I'm sure I gained ten pounds from all of the drinks and dining. Here's the breakdown: Rooms We had a double room, which was very clean and well-appointed. The beds were amazingly soft -- I slept better than I typically... More

This property is built to serve. The staff are well trained, coordinated, and professional. Almost everything is centered around activities for the family with daily round-up posted and/or distributed. The lazy river is awesome along with the water slide and beach area. Water falls, water volleyball, water basketball, etc. at the pool. Lots of space to run, basketball, horseshoes and... More

We have gone to Lost Pines with my husband's family for the last 4-5 years. It is always a good time. We have taken kids from infant to teenage and there is always something for everyone to do. Don't let the high cost of the room scare you away, instead look it as the cost of your room and entertainment... More

We just spent 4 nights there. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained and the service is great. My 10 year old daughter loved it there and didn't complain or utter the "b" word (bored) even one time, even though I insisted that this be an "electronic-free vacation". There were so many free, on sight activities- we all loved meeting... More

Let me start by saying that it breaks my heart that I have to rate this place the way I do. I had been looking forward to this vacation with my family for months...but one thing after another made us very disappointed. 1. This resort is NOT a place for a family vacation if your kids are under 5. Most... More

I can't say enough about this place. My first visit was a solo retreat and I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. My King room was well appointed and very clean. Turn down service...you name it. Lost Pines caters to families but they have an adult only area with a great pool that connects to the lazy river. I... More
