Absolutely love how the entire hotel is only a few stories. Has a great Texas ranch feel. I went for a business meeting and played the golf course a few times. The course is in great shape and is very challenging. Everyone in our business group seemed to enjoy the hotel and talked about having future events there. The resort... More

Tagged along on a business trip, then stayed a few extra days. The grounds are great. Enjoyed hiking, biking and pool with the lazy river. Had potential to be a romantic place, but is really geared more towards business and families rather than a romantic get away. The food choices seem to be the same in all of the restaurants.... More

I've stayed here three times, all work related. It is well maintained, sprawling and has nice touches such multiple fire pits where you can make smores with a kit they give you at the front desk, children's movies on the grass with popcorn, opportunities for horseback riding ($85), and sitting on a longhorn cow (free), a crooked river pool, and... We found the Hyatt Lost Pines to be quiet and seemingly remote although it is quite close to Austin, Tx. The facilities are very nice and the grounds are lovely. The room was very comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the woods and river. The layout of the hotel room hallways and location is confusing. Better directions upon check in... More

I stayed here on a Business Trip September 2014. Located right outside of Austin near the airport nestled in the Pines on the Colorado river, the scenery and grounds were beautiful. Like all resorts bring your wallet, everything here is expensive. Most of the meals were brought in as part of my meeting, but I did eat at the Firewheel... More

Went down for 3 days to Bastrop , TX to the lost Pines Resort and spa . Beautiful grounds and hotel . The people were extremely friendly and helpful . There is plenty to do there or if you want to just lay around and chill it's good as well . A bit pricey , 18.00 a night to park... More

We went for a quick getaway on a wed / thurs and we practically had the place to ourselves. We really enjoyed the golf course, the fire pit, and the massage at spa django was amazing! The horseback ride was so-so, if not boring despite our wonderful guide. Trap shooting was fun but short-lived. Both activities seemed way overpriced for... More

4 days of offsite meetings and all went very well. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff and the meeting spaces are laid out very well. Lots of things to do onsite. PS in room 1 cup coffee maker - yeah!

The staff at this resort are rude and argumentative. The worst was at the restaurant. We went at 8:30 pm. The hostess was not at her post. We waited for some time than inched into the restaurant looking for her. She was nowhere to be found. Seeing the restaurant was slow we asked the waitress if she could seat us,... More

Stayed here with a friend and loved this hotel. The hotel is very nice and the staff is very helpful. However, this hotel is very family friendly and it was over run by children. Everywhere I looked there were kids running around. The restaurants were good but the food wasn't great. I didn't get a chance try the spa but... More
