Stayed here for a conference recently. Not sure if this would be my type of vacation normally, but the place was fabulous. Lots of activities but about 30 minutes outside of Austin. My room felt luxurious. I had a balcony with a view of the grounds. The food was excellent, but most of it was set up by the conference... More

Stayed at this resort for a conference and wouldn't go back. If you do stay here I recommend asking to not be placed in a room that overlooks the main center area off the lobby, it is very loud at night and no opportunity for opening a window to hear the peace and quiet, you search for at this hotel.... Where do I begin...you're greeting with individuals to take your bags to the room, check in is a breeze, and the rooms are great! The beds are heavenly and the shower is perfection as well. Each meal was great-some of it a little out of the ordinary but I really enjoy trying new things! The bar area was nice, drinks... More

This hotel, in the "lost pines" area of Texas is secluded and beautiful. There's a great golf course, Wolfdancer, and all sorts of activities for families, including bicycling, hiking, horse rides, and a huge fire pit. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. There are several dining options, including fine dining and casual, with queso and hamburgers. a delightful... More

This is a really lovely hotel and resort for a quick getaway from Houston. Beautiful grounds, nice staff, good activities (though a few more things for the under-3 set would be nice). It's really nice that the hotel feels incredibly rural but is actually only 20 miles from Austin. If we didn't have a baby in tow, I can imagine... More

Absolutely love how the entire hotel is only a few stories. Has a great Texas ranch feel. I went for a business meeting and played the golf course a few times. The course is in great shape and is very challenging. Everyone in our business group seemed to enjoy the hotel and talked about having future events there. The resort... More

I've stayed here three times, all work related. It is well maintained, sprawling and has nice touches such multiple fire pits where you can make smores with a kit they give you at the front desk, children's movies on the grass with popcorn, opportunities for horseback riding ($85), and sitting on a longhorn cow (free), a crooked river pool, and... We found the Hyatt Lost Pines to be quiet and seemingly remote although it is quite close to Austin, Tx. The facilities are very nice and the grounds are lovely. The room was very comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the woods and river. The layout of the hotel room hallways and location is confusing. Better directions upon check in... More

I stayed here on a Business Trip September 2014. Located right outside of Austin near the airport nestled in the Pines on the Colorado river, the scenery and grounds were beautiful. Like all resorts bring your wallet, everything here is expensive. Most of the meals were brought in as part of my meeting, but I did eat at the Firewheel... More

Went down for 3 days to Bastrop , TX to the lost Pines Resort and spa . Beautiful grounds and hotel . The people were extremely friendly and helpful . There is plenty to do there or if you want to just lay around and chill it's good as well . A bit pricey , 18.00 a night to park... More
