My family, 2 adults & 2 children 9 & 10 year olds, decided to camp over the Thanksgiving Holiday as a last minute decision. MAKE NO MISTAKE, THIS IS A FAMILY PLACE, NOT FOR LOUD BELLIGERENT DRUNKS THE GOOD - Our great experience with this park began when I called to make a reservation. I spoke to Teresa, who was... more

I was a little unsure about the place from some of the reviews. However, our original plans to stay at a different place fell through and we ended up spending a week at Jellystone. The place is not as bad as the reviews make it sound. The grounds were very clean, the only thing I had a problem with, was... more

I have say that My family and I were very disappointed with the park. We took our 4 kids(ages 12, 11, 3, & 1) to this park for Spring/Easter break. This park was advertised as a "FAMILY" campground, it was anything but family friendly. We were told that we could not even sit outside our camper after 10pm (since this... more

Visited the park for a weekend and everyone was very nice; however, the park is stark with little to no hiking and very little natural beauty. Most everything is paved or gravel and there is no privacy between campsites except your RV or tent. We haven't been there in the summer, but based on the number of bars in the... more

We spent 5 days at Jellystone Park Hill Country and enjoyed every minute of our time there. This park is family friendly and the people who work there are outgoing and helpful. We enjoyed meeting the "Winter Texans" who came to stay throughout the winter and the wonderful park personnel, as well. Lots of fun things to do, even in... more

My wife and four children had a horrid experience at this park. We were approached by park staff about allowing our son to drive his toy tractor on park streets and were told we could not allow him to ride on the streets; however, we could rent their pedal cars. When asked why our son could not ride his tractor... more

Management response from

We have owned this campground for over 2 1/2 years and try very hard to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for all of our guests. When a a situation arises that compromises safety we will take action. In this case the guest was asked to not allow his child to ride his toy on the roads and limit it to...

We took our 5 yr old grandson to Jellystone RV Park over Easter weekend. We rented an RV. The RV was nice, clean and equipped with linens, and cooking utinsils etc. We brought only our clothes and food. The staff were very nice and accomodating and they had several activities daily for the children. The only issue we had is... more

We just came back last week, from our first trip, tubing the Guadalupe River in Canyon Lake, Texas. We stayed at Maricopa's Riverside Lodge, the last weekend in June ( "celebrated" 4th of July weekend) The weather had been flooding in the area due to heavy rainfall, and the forecast called for more flooding and storms but we went anyway.... more

Overview: The property is located 13 miles west of I 35 on hwy 308 in the heart of Texas tubing country. It was originally built as an RV park and the motel and cottages were added in the 60's. It is on 25+ acres with an indoor and outdoor pool. The location abuts the highway only at the entrance with... more
