We spent four nights at this very centrally located motel in Canyon. The owners were very pleasant and helpful to us during our stay. Our room and bathroom were very clean and a decent size.Television and WI FI were available. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned for a further two nights after spending two days in the... Fairly clean,Hard bed, mouse holes in the wall!!! Didn't see any live bugs. Owners are nice. Will probably stay elsewhere next time. Several in our group and all rooms were pretty much the same. Will have to pay more to get a better room and amenities.

Utilitarian rather than opulent but easy on the pocket book and with free wifi. Clean! Efficient and sparse about sum it up. Hotels in Canyon tend to book up fast. For us it was a better option than driving further that night.

We had a wonderful stay at the Buffalo Inn. The rooms were meticulously clean and there were plenty of towels. Nothing incredibly fancy, but fancy is overrated. It was everything we needed and the location was perfect. It was near many perfect longboarding spots. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. We'll definitely be staying again.

I was promised that I could cancel the day of the reservation in necessary. When I called at 12:45 to cancel, I was told it was a 24 hour cancellation policy. When I protested, the foreign worman said it was afternoon not morning, and she would charge the card on file. I told her if she did I would contact... More

The room was clean, had comfortable bed, good WIFI, microwave, fridge, flatscreen TV, plenty of hot water in good shower. Yes, the room was small by today's standards, but certainly adequate for one or two people. It is a well-kept motel of the old style. The heater had to cycle on and off all night to keep up with keeping... More

Pretty bare bones, but I expected as much. Our room had a small television with a humble decor. Just a place to sleep and shower. Why the horrible rating then? 1) flies constantly buzzing around. 2) open condom wrapper on the floor.

We love staying in old road inns when we travel; but it can be a crap shoot. The Buffalo Inn in Canyon, TX was one of the nicest we have stayed in for some time. The room had been tastefully updated with fresh paint and newer carpeting. There was absolutely no old cigarette smoke or chemical cleaner smell. The bathroom... More

I stayed two nights. The location was perfect for my reason to be in Canyon. It was clean, the bed was very firm. Service was ok. The owners ask that a/c and all lights be turned off when I was not in the room. There is nothing wrong with that request. Very light, continental breakfast. Room rate was right in... More

Old style hotel. The beds were a bit firm, but the rooms were clean and quiet, enough space, and the area felt safe (across from the Campus police Dept.). Brick walls between rooms meant we heard nothing from our neighbors. We walked the area at night to the restaurant (Feldmans - decor is a hoot), no problem. There were several... More
