This is a beautifully decorated, comfortable place to stay within easy walking distance to the court house square, museum and restaurants.. Van and Jill are warm, welcoming and accommodating. They cheerfully welcomed my granddaughters and the girls said that they felt like princesses. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cozy. The breakfast was absolutley delicious! We did not... more

Beautiful, quaint, historical Bed & Breakfast. Very intimate formal breakfast with wonderful homemade granola and the yummiest pumpkin scones with white chocolate chips. The beds are super comfy too! Loved that the house was decorated for Christmas. more

The hosts and spaces were generous. There is a very large living room set aside for only guests. The breakfasts are superb. We stayed in Emily, the largest of the bedrooms and bathrooms, and it provided more than enough space for us. Canyon's other choices are two express hotels. The Hudspeth House is a professionally operated alternative with lots of... more

We've stayed in B&Bs worldwide--this one can compete with the best. Convenient to so much in the area. Jill and Van aren't satisfied till you are satisfied--they are wonderful. This was our second trip; and we shall return. more

I am so happy to find this little gem. Since my daughter is attending WTAMU, I think we have started a great new tradition. The food was wonderful, the rooms comfortable with lots of special touches, and the hosts were both accomodating and welcoming. more

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Canyon a great deal. It was our first time to use a Bed & Breakfast option, and we were very satisfied with the experience. The owners of the Hudspeath House were very accommodating and friendly and we immediately felt at home. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We... more

One of the best accommodations our painting group has enjoyed. (Our group numbered eleven.) The hosts, Jill and Van, went above and beyond to attend to some special diet needs and rooming arrangements for our group. We highly recommend the Hudspeth House as a must stay if you are visiting Canyon, WT, Amarillo, or the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. more

The Emily room was spacious & comfortable without being overly over-decorated. The room was facing the street so you could hear traffic noise throughout the night. If I did not need an alarm to wake me up @ 5am I would of used earplugs. The innkeepers were a lovely, friendly Christian couple, very flexible to the group of runners getting... more

Benjamin's Cabin was delightful. The entire experience at the Hudspeth House was interesting. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast experience. Both days, I met wonderful folks. The conversations were so stimulating that I almost missed appreciating the gourmet breakfasts. I would suggest that there be a chair in Benjamin's cabin. more

Hudspeth House Bed and Breakfast is great. The owners are extremely friendly and will do everything possible to make your experience memorable. The rooms are classy and comfortable. The food is excellent. If you have a trip planned for the Amarillo/Canyon/Palo Duro Canyon area of Texas, this is THE place to stay. more
