We enjoyed the Hudspeth house as part of our visit to see the musical Texas. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. We enjoyed meeting Jill and Van and the food was delicious. Very nice place to relax and explore the things in Canyon. The room had information on area restaurants and attractions. Nice warm welcoming atmosphere that feels like... More

This was our first B&B and it was a very memorable time. Van and Jill are great hosts and everyone visiting the area should stay at least a night. Nothing but great things to say about our stay (3 nights in the Chloe room) and our hosts. Looking forward to another visit to the area and another stay at the... More

We chose Hudspeth due to it's location and the reviews posted on Tripadvisor. Once again we were not disappointed. Jill and Van are great hosts and made us feel right at home. Well kept house and we were in the Lighthouse room on the top floor. Nice and quiet, and comfortable bed. The breakfast is home cooked and just right... More

This is a beautiful old home that is perfect for a B&B and the owners are certainly doing it right. Easy to find on a quiet street right on the way to Palo Duro Canyon. Flowering plants surround the porch and there is room to sit if the weather is right. The owner gave us a friendly welcome and brief... More

We love meeting our guests and can't imagine having an un-hosted property. Thanks for acknowledging your pleasant experience. Happy that you were able to enjoy the porch. The recent rain and Van's gardening skills make it nice and colorful. More

My wife and I have now stayed there twice in a little over a month. I can say we were blown away by the hospitality we received while staying at the Hudspeth House. It is a charming B&B that is quiet & super nice! The breakfast is also so good! My wife & I now make yogurt parfaits for breakfast!... More

We loved having you stay the first time for several nights and really enjoyed the second time when you brought your folks from West Virginia. We now look forward to your 3rd visit! More

We stayed 2 nights (probably the average stay) in the Chloe room up a set of stairs to the 2nd floor. Nice, historical room not TOO far to carry up my heavy suitcase. (No help was obvious) Comfortable bed, nice window seat and other chairs to relax. The Inn is well priced with nice amenities and a very good breakfast.... More

Jill and Van were the perfect hosts. They did everything to make the visit pleasant. The house was wonderfully decorated and reflected the way of life in the Panhandle excellently. It was also very well kept and offered a beautiful front porch to enjoy the pleasant Panhandle mornings..

The location was convenient--walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The décor was themed for each room and lovely--we reserved 3 rooms and each was well done and charming. The Texas Musical at Palo Duro canyon was a straight drive from the B & B--about 15 miles. Overall, this was great... More

We thank you for bringing your sister as well as friends to stay with us while visiting our area. Yes, only a 15 min. drive to the State Park entrance is very nice too. More

This was a fantastic B & B! The decor was charming and tasteful and reflected the Victorian era. Georgia O'keefe used to take her meals in this house when she lived in Canyon. The orange french toast for breakfast was to die for. Best, the hosts were welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed getting to know the other interesting guests... More

It is fun to imagine Georgia O'Keeffe eating and socializing in this very home from 1916-1918. To think that she taught at the University while it was a teacher's college and she would walk down to Palo Duro Canyon before there were paved roads is quite interesting! More
