Our family stayed at the HI Express in Canyon on our way back from Albuquerque, NM going to see the "Texas" show in Palo Duro Canyon, which is a great thing to see. We had booked a double bed, non-smoking room on the hotel website for about $97.00 (taxes included). We checked into the hotel and had to leave quickly... more
We stopped in Canyon on our way to Colorado and decided to see the musical in Palo Duro Canyon. This hotel had a wonderful room with 2 bedrooms and a couch in the main room that worked great for our group of 7. It even had a mini kitchen. They also have a really nice continental breakfast, which is much... more
I wasn't sure what to expect as we were staying strictly for the Palo Duro canyon access but our four night stay was clean, comfortable and a great value ($620 for four nights during peak travel week). The staff was friendly and helpful, though I hope they get parental control on that lobby pc ASAP. We stayed in the "honeymoon... more

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It's above average compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly & helpful. The breakfast area was very crowded. There is a newer Best Western right next door that we stayed at on our way back because of some confusion of bed... more
We stayed at this motel over Spring Break. Rooms were clean, nice pool, no problems with the staff. Great breakfast. We had no problems. If you are staying in Canyon, eat at Fatboys BBQ or El Patio on Hwy 60. more
I had a very good experience with the Holiday Inn Express in Canyon. The front desk was very friendly and helped me out with some research I am conducting in the area. They had good cookies at the front desk as well. The room was large, clean, and in good shape. Great bedding, a nice little kitcheonette, good wireless signal,... more
We booked 3 rooms with 2 beds in each through the "block reservation clerk" 5 months prior to needing the rooms. The clerk on duty, when we checked in, was rude, stating we reserved rooms with queen beds and there was nothing he could do, as the hotel was "over-booked". The reservations were made for 4 nights for each room.... more
My whole family stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Canyon, Texas over Independance Day this year. We were there for a family reunion. On February 13, we, along with the rest of our party, booked the rooms. We were suppossed to be in a block. Instead they had us on several different floors. My personal family had 4 people... more
