This was my first official scrapbook retreat at a bed and breakfast. I enjoyed every moment. Paul, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. He is such a nice man, and he is very funny. However, when it was time to start scrapping, he got to cooking. Our small group had complete privacy in the cottage until it was time to go next door to eat one of Paul's delicious home cooked meals. We had 5 meals. Friday was a scrumptious BBQ feast complete with the richest banana pudding. Saturday, we woke to 2 kinds of homemade quiche, biscuits and gravy and of course there was a nice continental breakfast available early both morning as well. Lunch was another homemade treat of soup and salad. The hot fudged brownie bottom pie was the icing on the the cake! Saturday night we had a homemade cheese and chicken enchilada dinner with peach cobbler to die for as dessert!! Sunday morning, we had sausage, eggs and you could make a yummy Belgian waffle.
