Good accommodations , a bit pricey for the small town. Room was clean. Inn keepers were fine but dont arrive before 3:00 pm as you might have to wait. And there is a great restaurant right across the street.. The Brazzo Belle.

Just wanted to update my first review here (posted somewhere below, depending on how you have this sorted). We stayed a first time as part of a Living Social deal, and then went back again without one - we loved it so much. Still heartily recommended, and my favorite spot to go for a weekend away from Austin.

The Knittel Homestead Inn is a Bed & Breakfast located in the small town of Burton, Texas. The town is quiet and peaceful. Wonderful place to spend our anniversary. Great attention to details and a wonderful bed, double bath, and awesome breakfast! Snacks and drinks were in the cozy common area, along with a coffeepot which was set to brew at 7:30 each morning. Everything was very clean and decorated with great care.

A wonderful, restful and quiet getaway. You will not regret staying here. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully maintained. This was an amazing bed and breakfast! The innkeepers were the sweetest and most accommodating ! The room was gorgeous and cozy. The breakfast was amazing! We had the best little getaway! And, their pizza was delicious! This place is a great place to stay! You will not be disappointed.

Want to get away from it all and just relax? This is the perfect place to go. The inn keepers were great, the breakfast each morning fantastic, and the homemade pizza delivered to our room was delicious. We used an escape deal through LivingSocial but would not hesitate paying full price. Wished we could have stayed longer.
