We've stayed at Trails West a couple of times during the summer and enjoyed our visits every time. Cabins are reasonably priced with kitchens, and many have porches/decks so you can enjoy time outside (probably easier during a cooler time of year). Our family and friends have enjoyed Trails West Retreat for six years. We usually book 2-3 nights at least 3 times a year. Fall and Spring are the best so you can enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful wooded scenery. Betty and Del are wonderful hosts and have always been extremely accommadating. If you enjoy antique shopping, this is a great place for you as it is right near the antique capital of Texas. Book in advance though, they fill up quickly during this time of year.
