We stayed here in May 2014 in our 5th wheel and had full hookups. The campground was really pretty and there were bathrooms nearby that were in decent shape considering it was a campground. The resort itself was beautiful and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the onsite restaurant was so-so. Lake Buchanan was... More

I recently attended a corporate function at Canyon of the Eagles for three nights. The rooms were comfortable if not on the small side and lightly furnished. The room was clean and the view was great. There isn't much sitting area in the room, but I didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Note there are no TVs in... More

We spent 3 very relaxing nights at the resort. The staff really make this a nice place to visit. Unfortunately, with Lake Buchanan being so low for so long, the resort itself misses some of its luster, but still remains very relaxing. Even without the lake there are still scenic views and nice Texas sunsets. The staff really tries to... More

We spent three nights at this resort and found it to be very relaxing and laid back. While it is on Lake Buchanan, and used to water up to the edge of the resort, you now have to look a long way to find water because the lake is so low! But, THAT IS nature, so you deal with it.... More

My boyfriend and I camped out here this past Saturday night with our dog. Because it is the off season for camping, it was just ours and one other campsite that were occupied in this campground. The office placed two campsites in between ours and the other couples' so we were able to have some privacy. This campground has its... More

We booked a weekend trip here kid free as we are typically outdoor people, and enjoy the hill country immensely. The web site looked amazing, and I appreciated that there was no television to aid in getting us outside. Upon check-in, we were given a map of the trails and resort. The front desk lady told us the more difficult... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our nature park and resort, and we apologize that you did not completely enjoy your time with us. As you are aware, we are a 940-acre nature park and do have 14-miles of hiking trails. The young lady at the front desk was correct when she said all 14-miles of the trials... More

Just got back from a 2 day stay. We had a great time! This is not a fancy resort, but it is very nice. It's rustic and cabin feeling, but was well planned out and everything felt clean and well kept. We had the Deluxe room with 2 beds and a great view! Loved our huge deck and it wasn't... More

I thought I should write a feedback of this place since I read others at this website before we went. We just had a weekend gateway on June 21 and 22. It was relaxing. The restaurant service was excellent and food were really good. We loved our mini tip there and will go back again.

We camped here Easter weekend. We did not use any of the facilities, so I can't comment on those. We camped with 2 other families, so we had 3 sites side-by-side and the kids ran from one to the other, so we really didn't need to go anywhere, they kept themselves entertained. It was dry and it was cool, so... More

This review is for the RV camp sites only. I was going to title this "Nickel and Dimed to Death" however, I went back to the website and had I paid attention, I would have noticed they did in fact list all the additional fess. I should have added up the daily use fee ( $5 per person), the reservation... More

We apologize that you did not enjoy your time with us in our RV Park. As you may be aware, Canyon of the Eagles is a 940-acre nature park, and as such, we do have wild animals and insects. Since the majority of the park is a wildlife preserve (with several birds considered endangered species) we do not use pesticides... More
