My husband and I checked in rather late, and was greeted with a warm smile and got us on our way to our room promptly. It was very dark, VERY quiet, on the way to our room. Our accommodations were simplistic, yet inviting. The room got warm quickly and caught a hot shower to unwind. The beds were clean and... More

I love bringing the kids out here for a chance to unplug. Far from roughing it, the deluxe cabins have mini-frigs, microwaves, a coffee maker, and a great shower. No TVs or wifi in the cabins. Hiking trails or varying lengths and difficulties and views from the porch (rocking chair provided!) It is no longer a secret getaway. The prices... More

My husband and I decided to get away for a few days over the holidays for some quiet time. We chose Canyon of the Eagles because it is close to Austin and had cabins and a restaurant on site. The food was delicious. I had chicken one night and my husband had crepes. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast one... More

My companion and I arrived late in the fall afternoon and was greeted by a friendly staffed that got us promptly checked in. We made dinner reservations and told we were in for a treat. And indeed we were. Setting in the Overlook restaurant while the sun was sitting we were waited upon by a lovely energetic and very friendly... More

In all honesty the resort does warn you about the rattlesnakes in the Resort Information notebook in the room, however, I just wanted to mention that you keep your young kids well looked after. Snake bites have occurred in the area of the cabins, not just out in the bush. My daughters were running around with two littler children and... More

We were looking for a close to nature, camping like experience during kids’ fall break and this place worked out great. We stayed in their deluxe cabin, with microwave and fridge. The room was basic, but met all our requirements. It was clean, beds were comfortable, wall heater unit worked, and hot water was hot. The view from the room... More

This place is beautiful and the facilities are great, but nothing more. The staff was very disorganized and rude. When I checked in, I was told I could drive my car down to unload, I was stopped by other staff and told turn around. The rooms were nice however they never cleaned them or brought fresh towels, their website says... More

Canyon of the Eagles is a lovely place to stay but they have many problems with the service of this facility. Our room was not cleaned one day, and when they did "clean the room" they only made the bed did not sweep the concert floor or empty the trash or clean the coffee pot, or pick up the dirty... More

We spent a very relaxing wkend there, our first trip, despite the cool weather and rain we had a great time, cozy cabin, relaxing by the fire outside.
