We stayed at the Tabiano Castello on a two-day journey through the castelli of Parma and Piacenza. We had been in cities and towns and wanted a more country-side experience. What a delight this place is! We were "upgraded" to the tower in the castle area (the castle itself is a private residence) and enjoyed the charm, the view, and... More

We have just returned from our son and his wifes wedding in Tabiano Castello and what can I say about this wonderful venue it was truly magical. The natural beauty of the venue is absolutely stunning and the help and support we received from Petra and her team was just exceptional. The accommodation was so unique and the food and... More

My stayings at this hotel are always more than pleasant. You feel like at home, people are nice, warm and welcome you always with nice smile. The Hotel Manager is a fantastic host who always try to fit your needs with hotel's services. Food is good, healthy (lot of vegetables) and home made ....not haute cuisine but who wants to... More

We stayed at Tabiano Castello with a group studying Verdi's operas. I loved our rustic room with a sitting area and roomy bedroom and bathroom. The natural stone walls were impressive. There are several buildings on the property and it is fun to roam around and see the peacocks. I also enjoyed the excellent spa services and had several massages... More

We loved our stay in the "castle" Great location for biking, you do have to be fit to stay there thou.....lots of stairs, wonderful views and peacocks! Petra the manager very personable, great varied breakfast. Not your usual "hotel". Exceptionally decorated, even thou not most comfortable. No English speaking TV channels.

Our business group stayed here courtesy if our host whilst visiting in September. It was so good that we all want to return privately. Stunning location, beautiful food and a genuine warmth from all the staff. Sadly we only had 1 night but it's on the list for a longer stay next time !!

This lovely property has been well restored, offers sweeping views to the south and has tremendously friendly staff. A point of clarification - the hotel is not the castle at the top of the hill but rather the adjoining buildings (all authentic and of the same time period as the castle) just below the crest of the hill. There are... More

I just came back from a group opera tour of Italy. We stayed here because of its central accessibility to many wonderful opera cities: Milan, Bologna, Parma and Cremona (not for opera but for its fantastic violin museum). When we arrived, the room was not prepared and we had no shelves or places on which to put things--seemed like would... More

A dream up in the hills above Fidenza, near Parma ... I was there for a wedding over several days but would recommend for a visit of any kind. Everything from simple rooms to apartments/villas are available at diffferent prices. Great staff team to help with anything needed. Two swimming pools ... A dream, as I say!!
