ThIs resort is convienietly located south of Fort Woth with easy access from I35W. Take the Bethesda Riad exit and it is on the East side. The pull thru sites are graveled but after the rains it was still muddy. Each site has a small fence by the hookups that were covered with lovely yellow flowers. It seemed to be... More

Pros: -The security on the premises was nice. They are friendly, talkative, and informative. -Our calls to the front desk were always answered by friendly people. -We needed our propane filled and the guy met us in under a minute! -Lots of things for the kids to do, even without any of the activities places open. -Sites are clean. After our visit we were planning many many more trips here with friends and family. I went to book the site this year (2015) and there are a lot of changes. 1) prices for the RV sites alone have gone up. They now charge a per person/per day fee on top of the nightly rate. 2) the water park is... More

We just got back from an overnight stay with our 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter. They absolutely loved the place and are already begging us to go back this summer. Grandparents, mom and dad, 3 grandkids staying 3 days. Hay ride 30 minutes late, long line, at dinner time. Barrel train ride cancelled. Obstacle course replaced with a rougher game, bean bag "red rover", not a great replacement fora 3 and 5 year old. Large dog poop piles throughout park. Fire truck ride lasted about 10 minutes. Young workers at... More

My husband and I decided to go camping with our 3 & 14 year old to celebrate my som's birthday. Our family of four stayed in the new homestead cottages. The units are long RV like and in addition to a living area and private queen-sized bedroom; it included bunk beds, a sleeper sofa and a spacious loft with 2... More

We had to cancel a reunion trip to this place with friends from West Texas due to ice and snow and extremely unsafe travel. They would not refund our money due to a 72-hour cancellation policy. Whoever heard of a 72-hour cancellation policy? We begged them to reconsider since the roads were not safe to travel. They refused. We had... More

Our Family Reunion has been there a few times in recent years. We always enjoyed it even though there were generally hiccups with the meeting room and the price has gone up substantially each time. I always thought the rooms were nice. We have a meeting room reserved for our big group this year and the room/rv slot price quotes... More
