The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had nice amenities. The only downside was the pool area had significant concrete damage and made it dangerous and difficult to walk around the pool area. more
My husband and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Brownwood Texas last night, and I'd have to say it was the best experience we've had at a hotel in a long time. The front desk staff and manager where very warm with their welcoming, and they promptly checked us into our room. I was pretty amazed... more
The good was that the service was solid and the staff did what they could. But the room despite being in a new hotel was awful. A/C didn't adequatley keep the room cool, shower didn't work and toilet ran all night. Had to switch rooms on my 2nd night. more
We stayed last night at the "brand new" La Quinta that opened just a few months ago. I was optimistic going in. Our room was on the 4th floor (top floor), when we stepped off the elevator, the temperature in the hallway was very warm.
