We visited family in Borger for Thanksgiving and opted to stay at a hotel with our young children. We loved the hospitality we were given. We recently spent 3 nights at the Borger, AmericInn. This was during graduation weekend so the hotel was fairly busy. We found the accommodations extremely clean, new decor, comfortable...NO PROBLEMS. The hotel is fairly new and the decor looks great. The rooms were clean and the staff was fine. However, the walls and windows were not sound proof so you can hear the people next door easily which kept me up plus you can not leave the fan running to drown them out. Due to my job I stayed at the AmericCin for several months. Since Borger Texas has only 4 motels places to stay are very limited. What I encountered while I was there were the following issues. Frequently the warm stuff for the breakfast was cold and you had to microwave it. Three times the milk in the containers was soured.... more

Quite literally. This is the newest, nicest and cleanest place to stay in Borger. The pool, sauna (yes, a sauna) and spa area are located in a beautiful wood ceiling enclosure.
