This was an overnight stop on a trip to San Antonio. Baytown is on the east side of Houston. The area is kinda in the middle of nowhere. There's a Sonic and a horrible Denny's in walking distance. Staff who do their job, rooms clean and quiet and reasonable views - pleasantly surprised as this was a room offered by my points. Was expecting somewhere with kitchen facilities but other than that this was confortable, especially bed. Free breakfast was minimal but passable. I would imagine that this would have been value for money if I had paid. more
This was an enjoyable stay. Most of the rooms are newly painted and everything was very clean. I enjoy staying at Hampton Inn because the bedding is always fresh and changed after each guest stay. This isn't one of the newer Hamptons, but it has been nicely updated. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Great beds, a very good shower and good A/C. Very friendly staff. Typical Hampton breakfast. Outback Steakhouse, Chilis and Johnny Carinos are all nearby. Highly recommended! more
