We decided to stay here on our wedding might instead of the Hyatt. Best decision I could have made. Beautiful room felt like home and woke up to a delicious breakfast and coffee. Owner was very gracious and felt like instant friends. We will definitely come back!

My wife and I decided at the last minute on 4th of July weekend to make a quick "getaway". She found the Magnolia Inn through some B&B website...so whatever the wife wants, the wife gets (you guys know what I mean). After a 4 hour drive to Bastrop we pulled up in front of this grand old home...it is beautiful.Let... More

I couldn't have been happier with our recent stay at the Magnolia Inn on Main. The home is so beautiful that when we walked in my mouth hit the floor. This home has been lovingly restored and you can tell that the owners are very proud of their B&B. We were greeted like old friends the moment we got there... More

Magnolia Inn is a lovely place. It has been lovingly restored yet it never feels stuffy or museum-like. The beds are comfortable, the bedding is first rate and Paula pays attention to the smallest detail - all designed to make your stay perfect. We were pampered like guests, yet treated like family - a combination hard to find anywhere! The... More

A few friends decided to spend the weekend in Bastrop. We had heard the Magnolia Inn was a great place to stay & it was. The B&B is a historic home but has all the modern touches & then some. The owners, Julie & Paula, were wonderful & made us feel right at home. Perfect location for dining & shopping,... More

This trip was a weekend getaway from my wife, and we had a great time just being somewhere with no schedule.....We arrived early and the owner, Paula, greeted us from the garden where she was working on her plants. The house looks great from the outside, but when you step inside you can truly start to appreciate it's heritage. Paula... More

Common areas were cozy and welcoming - front porch was really relaxing. Breakfasts were delicious - my girls said "Yummy!"
