I have never been to a "dude" ranch so I did not know what to expect. We came just after several days of rain so areas were very muddy but this did not affect us much. We opted not to do horse back riding and it was a little damp for a hay ride. This facility was not a "hotel"... More

The property is very scenic and beautiful, but the accommodations are terrible. We expected a rustic environment, but what we received was a rundown facility. There were nineteen people in our group and we stayed for two nights. All nineteen were terribly disappointed with the accommodations. All of the buildings need renovations and upgrades. Porch roof on one of the... More

As a participant with the national meeting of the International Mercedes Benz 190 SL Group I had the great pleasure of staying at the Twin Elms Guest Ranch in Bandera, Texas. Twin Elms is rustic and for those who appreciate history Twin Elms is a joy. When visiting the Ranch I recommend reserving rooms in the Travel Lodge as these... More

Six family members (2 kids, parents, and grandparents) spent a few nights here over spring break in mid-March. We enjoyed the horse riding and the cowboys who led the rides. We also enjoyed the food they served. The people who run this place seem very nice. We stayed in 2 adjacent bunkhouse rooms across from the campfire. The rooms were... More

We had a super great time at Twin Elms! Justin and his family and crew were amazingly friendly and made me and my girlfriend feel like a part of the family. The horses and the wranglers were super even for us as complete beginners - it was just such an experience to ride in the beautiful areas in nice and... More

Our family of 15 had an amazing experience at Twin Elm. One of our grandchildren said, "I really like it here. There are no rules." Some of us had never been on a horse (me) and all of us went (5 years old to 68). Everyone at the ranch was so very helpful. Each family had their own cabin, Bunk... More

We spent a night here with some friends recently. Considering the price the rooms were really very basic but the horses were really well looked after and happy and the wranglers were absolutely brilliant/utterly charming - Bobby, Garrett and JW absolutely made our trip. They made sure the rides catered to the different abilities of the riders in our groups... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Twin Elm in July 2013. What an amazing experience! Our cottage was rustic and simple but cute and clean. The ranch is beautiful with a stunning view down over the valley. We took our horse rides in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat. Our trail guides, Bobby and Dale were fun and... More

You cant find a more relaxing, friendly place then the Twin Elm Ranch! Our family stayed 4 days for a quick "getaway from it all" trip. The room we stayed in was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly, they treated us like family! The food was good. Barbecue just as would be expected on a dude... More

The people were great. The ranch and horses were beautiful. The hayride was a joke since they used our hayride to put out hay and it was two women throwing out the hay with short shorts on and showing their butts when they bent over. Disgusting! Campfire was a disappointment. The guy started the fire and left to go eat... More
