My husband and I stayed two nights in April 2014. The room was adequate, but left much to be desired for the price. For $100 per night, I would expect a higher quality bed, a level toilet, and a shower surround free of duct tape. Although it wasn't hot enough to get in the pool, we would not have anyway... More

After reading previous reviews, we were expecting this place to be a real dump. However, our room was clean, a/c worked great, bed was very comfortable. Yes there was stains on the chairs, but no big deal. No issues with clean bathroom linens or clean bathroom/shower. Was it worth the money? No it was over priced.

The only positive about this hotel is the internet so you can find another place to stay. Rundown rooms, horrible bathroom, disgusting shower. It should be condemned. It was also over-priced but the owner gave us "special" deal. It would be over priced if it was free..

I always check the Tripadvisor reviews and it would have been a red flag. However, my husband reserved this one! It is disgusting. They lost our reservation. The hotel looks abandoned. The pool was disgusting...dirty green water with garbage. There is no restaurant as pictures show. It is one of those places that gives me the creepy feeling all night... More

I've never been grossed out by a hotel ... Till now. Here is a list of what I experienced: 1. Toilet was filthy and the hardware around the seat was encrusted with a yellow gunk. 2. The chairs in the room had liquid stain spills and tears. 3. The sink in the bathroom had rust oozing around the chipped enamel.... More

The motel was clean, but very basic. In spite of the name (Lodge & Restaurant) there is no restaurant - it evidently closed down long ago. The managers were lovely, helpful and efficient. The location is easy to reach, but you do get some road noise. There aren't many options that aren't dude ranches, and considering the price of the... More

The best i can say is it wasn't bad. It was safe, clean, and comfortable. Not a vacation destination but all we needed was a clean place to sleep when we were not at the local dance hall. Managers and staff were all very very nice. I cant say enough about them. The place is just old and needs a face... More

It is a $60 a nite motel. I was given a price of 84.00 My card was hit for $100. Bandera is in desperate need of an economical lodging facility. The location is great. Coffee only in the lobby. I would not mind paying $84 for a new facility, but this place is pretty rundown. The room itself was clean... More

Ok look; if you are looking for posh hotel amenities, poolside umbrella drinks delivered by a cabana boy, palm trees and foot massages, you're in Bandera for the wrong reasons. Bandera is a great little river town with lots of activities, most taking place OUTDOORS. So, if you are looking for a comfortable place to take a shower and lay... More

Can't add much to the bad reviews. They say it all. If you're desperate for a room and don't have any other choices then go ahead and know that you've been forewarned. Fortunately, I haven't had many bad experiences with hotels but this one stands out. Owners that are either barely scraping by and can't afford to put anything into... More
