I have stayed here several times, primarily because there are few other choices. The rooms aren't that bad, but are overpriced for the condition of the lodging. There is a decent restaurant on the premises, which does help a little.

The is by far the worst hotel I have encountered in the United States, and in the third world I have only been in a few worse. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The rooms smell bad. The cleanliness of rooms and grounds is abysmal. The wifi is weak or non-existent in some rooms. The staff is clueless. Stay somewhere... More

We went for the Labor Day festivities, and stayed at the Bandera Lodge. I thought we had time traveled back 20 years. The only thing I could say good about our stay was the AC worked and they had direct TV. The place was a mess, dirty, mold on the shower liner( no shower curtain ) towels were so thin... More

This hotel needs an update badly. Outside is full of dirt and spider webs. Inside was clean, but needed paint and new furnishings. The place isn't terrible if the price wasn't so high, but this was the only place available for the date needed.

This place is rundown and overpriced. We should've pitched a tent in the woods. The rooms had big patch marks on the walls, the sink had rusty chip marks and the toilet had to think about flushing. My coworker had duct tape patches on his walls and the chairs had some funky stains.

My husband and I stayed two nights in April 2014. The room was adequate, but left much to be desired for the price. For $100 per night, I would expect a higher quality bed, a level toilet, and a shower surround free of duct tape. Although it wasn't hot enough to get in the pool, we would not have anyway... More

After reading previous reviews, we were expecting this place to be a real dump. However, our room was clean, a/c worked great, bed was very comfortable. Yes there was stains on the chairs, but no big deal. No issues with clean bathroom linens or clean bathroom/shower. Was it worth the money? No it was over priced.

The only positive about this hotel is the internet so you can find another place to stay. Rundown rooms, horrible bathroom, disgusting shower. It should be condemned. It was also over-priced but the owner gave us "special" deal. It would be over priced if it was free..

I always check the Tripadvisor reviews and it would have been a red flag. However, my husband reserved this one! It is disgusting. They lost our reservation. The hotel looks abandoned. The pool was disgusting...dirty green water with garbage. There is no restaurant as pictures show. It is one of those places that gives me the creepy feeling all night... More

I've never been grossed out by a hotel ... Till now. Here is a list of what I experienced: 1. Toilet was filthy and the hardware around the seat was encrusted with a yellow gunk. 2. The chairs in the room had liquid stain spills and tears. 3. The sink in the bathroom had rust oozing around the chipped enamel.... More
