Took the family to Blackberry for an anniversary and had a great time. Food and surroundings are magnificent. The only downside is the kids said the staff was not friendly to them in our abscence and the price of admission is pretty steep. I think if you have to bring kids, they prefer them young and cute.

I had heard about Blackberry Farm for a long time and was delighted when we had the chance to go. I cannot say enough about the service we received. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to accomodate all kinds of requests. We used the property (fishing, biking, hiking etc) and also went into the nearby national park.... More

Blackberry Farm provides the southern hospitality that is sadly not as common as it used to be. It has the class and grandness most people can only dream about. The food, grounds, amenities, etc. are nothing short of exquisite.

I have watched Blackberry Farm from afar (Souther Living, Website). Finally got there and it was every thing I wished for and more. Relaxing, beautiful, special. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just returned from a weekend at Blackberry Farm, which was a Christmas gift from our son-in-law and daughter. I do a lot of research on lodging prior to making any trip and I am now rather perplexed. How could anyone give Blackberry Farm anything other than a rave review. We were treated as if we were... Took me a while to review, but after returning yesterday from Remota in Chile, I felt it necessary to express my joy about Blackberry> The staff at Remota should spend 1 week at BF to learn what SERVICE, good food/wine & organization is all about. My husband coordinated this special bday weekend and surprised me w/ a stay at Blackberry.... More

I was in Chattanooga on business. My wife flew into Knoxville and I drove up. We stayed three nights. It's a bit of drive through the countryside of Tennessee to get to Walland. You turn onto a non-descript road off of a two-lane highway and drive past house trailers and ranch style homes. You know you're close when you see... More

The overall experience at Blackberry Farm is superb. We stayed in the 4 bedroom Cove Cottage, which is great for a big group. Loved walking the trails on the grounds (property has 4,000+ acres) and touring the garden and dairy. Food was very good - highlights were always the more simple dishes using ingredients from the farm. Preferred the dining... More

Coming back from our winter home we stayed at Blackberry Farm for 4 nights. We also invited two other family members to join us . To say the least it was a disappointment. The staff is young and eager to help in anyway they can but Its obvious that "cash flow" is more important than keeping the place up to... More
