My husband and I went to Blackberry Farm to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in early June. It is now mid-August, and I am still thinking about that experience and when I might be able to go back. From the moment we arrived until we drove away, we were pampered and treated as if we were the most important people... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to be at Blackberry Farm for the Smoky Mountain Table event. We could not have enjoyed it more. The food, activities, and service were impeccable. Any "foodie" would love this event! Rooms: We stayed in a Holly Glade Cottage with a king bed, separate sitting area, walk in closet, and bathroom with dual... More

1) Accommodations -- our cottage stay was quaint, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. However, there was no dresser or shelf space for non-hanging garments and the closet was quite small. One of our clear disappointments and surprises was the lack of cell service in the cottages and most of the main buildings. There was probably 2 places... More

BF is an oasis of calm and grace. Granted, there is plenty to do (e.g, horse back riding, fishing, hiking) but it is also a great place to do nothing and enjoy the scenery and, especially, the food. The food here is the main attraction, with fresh, seasonal ingredients, many of which are prepared on the property. The spa is... More

How funny, we must have had the same room as the previous poster (creeker5050). I couldn't agree more, that room was awful! How could a luxury resort on a sprawling farm offer a room that's that cramped? And the bathroom had NOT one luxurious feature. I mean for $1000/night how can that be??? I agree, if you can't stay in... More

My wife and I have yet to be disappointed in our stays at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee (near Knoxville). The mantra of "the answer to any question is 'yes'" drives the philosophy of this resort, and the results are outstanding customer service, exceptional accommodations (in a variety of types) and award-winning dining that is out of this world (for... What I thought would be a trip all about the food, location and service turned out to be all about the service, location and then food. The biggest disappointment thought was the room. All I can say is wait until you can save up and plan on staying in one of the lovely free standing cottages. The room we had... More

Two days, Guest House room (big room, tiny bathroom). Impeccable friendly service. For us, $2,600 including wine by the glass both nights. Lovely country setting, a bit hard to get to. Encyclopedic wine list. You can get a really nice suite on an all-inclusive cruiseline for $650 per person per day. We really enjoyed the visit with friends there. Deceptive... More
