John and Carolyn-the owners-were wonderful. The inn was extremely clean and the food was great. We felt like we had come to visit friends who lived in the family's old mansion. It was large, yet comfortable and cozy. We highly recommend spending a few nights and getting to know the area.

There's nothing quite like rocking on the porch at the Chilhowee Inn! ...watching the mist rise from the river in the morning, and the fireflies dancing in the evening ...it's just magic! The inn is beautiful, the food fantastic, and Carolyn and John are the kindest people and most wonderful innkeepers. They've thought of everything ...and seem to know what... More

This is the place to stay!!!! My husband and I were delighted with our stay this past weekend at this bed and breakfast. The location is so convenient, close to town (shopping / dining) and close to the National Park. John and Carolyn made us feel right at home. Our room was lovely; very clean, bright and airy with a... More

Our trip to the Great Smokies was enhanced by our stay at the Inn. John and Carolyn provided a varied, and hearty breakfast every morning. They gave helpful suggestions and maps for touring the area, including offering their lawn chair while were attended a local festival they recommended. The evening desert at your leisure in the family room was an... More

I definitely recommend this marvelous bed and breakfast. My husband and I were very comfortable, and had a wonderful 2 nights. We received first class treatment all the way, even a full sized bar of soap! My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. I would love to sit on the porch in a rocking chair listening to... We were only able to spend 2 nights here, but were so happy we did! John and Carolyn are excellent hosts, the scenery is awesome (despite being on the tip of spring!), breakfast amazing and evening dessert a perfect way to end the day! Our room was beautiful and comfortable, as was the breakfast room and the lovely front porch!... More

John and Carolyn were perfect hosts. They didn't hover, but if you needed some information regarding the area they were prompt to share what they knew. Their dining advice proved very gratifying. The fall beauty was on full display and if you like to hike you have abundant choices. Their Inn is kept spotless and the history of the building... More

My husband and I stayed three nights this week at this wonderful B & B and we loved every minute! Carolyn and John are the best innkeepers we've ever met and we felt like we were staying with family. Their warmth and attention to details are amazing. We enjoyed them sitting with all of us guests and just visiting with... More

We had a great time during our short stay. Carolyn makes a large country style breakfast that will not leave you hungry. We were there on my birthday and Carolyn went out of her way to prepare country ham for me. She and her husband John are excellent hosts. The birthday card was a nice touch. The Inn is convenient...
