We had the best time with Janice and all of the animals at Twin Valley Horse Ranch. Our horseback ride on the trails was fantastic and educational. Knowing we were amateur riders, Janice provided the perfect balance of instruction with adventure. We stayed in Luke's cabin, which was a delightful cozy space for the two of us and our dog.... My husband and I spent Christmas day at Twin Valley Ranch. We never expected the level of hospitality extended to us by Janice and her family (including the animals). They made us feel a part of their family. The scenery from the front porch is breath taking. The horse ride was incredible! There is no better vacation location for those... More

This is a real working ranch with chickens, llamas, pigs, donkeys, rabbits, sheep, dogs, cats, and of course horses! Feeding the animals is optional but oh so much fun. Meet at the barn by 7 in the morning (weave through the horses that get to roam the property at night) and meet Janice and her Mom to begin the morning.... More

This place is awesome. First of all the owner Janice is so wonderful and so nice. Her property is big with beautiful views to the mountains. I believe her property is 288 acres. My four-year-old and my 11-year-old loved the animals and getting to touch the horses and picking eggs. We live in the city, this was such a wonderful... More

Stayed 2 nights in August on our way to Alabama. This is a B&B geared to riders, tucked away in the Smokies a fair distance from anywhere. If you;re looking for solitude and rural life this is the place. Very friendly hosts (Janice & her mom). We stayed in the cabin, it's a hike up to the main building for... More

Thank you for your review about your summer getaway. YES, the "hill" is a great way to get in shape and to work up the appetite! Of course, for those who are not able to walk, driving would be an option. Hope to see you again in the future but until then Happy Trails! and Happy New Year! JAN More

We visited here as a surprise for my mother's birthday. We all had a great time. The property is full of all kinds of animals that you can pet and feed and they have lots of great horses for riding. The entire experience is very interactive and hands-on, it's nothing like the typical tourist walk along in a single file... More

After a long-scheduled vacation to the south pacific got cancelled, i really needed a break from my day to day DC life and found TVR online. I was thrilled to see the ranch's focus on horseback riding, so I arranged a 3 day stay. From the beginning, when Janis let me check into my room at about 11:00, to the... More

Twin Valley Ranch is a place to go if you want back to nature, quite and simple. This place is managed by two of the nicest women you'll ever want to meet (Janice and her mom). Janice couldn't be more warm and welcoming and willing to help you discover nature in at her beautiful ranch. Her mother (who is pretty... More

I so appreciate the time you took to write this nice review. The animals are a highlight for many, in fact a little boy just left who came a second time JUST to see his little "cat". This was my third visit and each time the experience is wonderful. Janice runs a relaxed Ranch and cares about each guest. We stayed in the Cowboy Hideout and had a blast.
