I was a return visitor this summer after visiting for the first time over 10 years ago. The cantilevered barn style home is just beautiful! The main floor and guest rooms are lovely, but all the wood decking and railing is getting old and rotting. The area hasn't grown much, but it's still worth a quick stay.

My husband and I have been going to Richmont Inn for 20 years and love it. It's a special place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are named after people from the Smoky Mountains area and are very nicely decorated. They serve a delicious breakfast and a candlelight dessert in the evenings. I have recommended it to many... More

We had an absolutely amazing three night stay at Richmont Inn over Memorial Day weekend 2015. It was the best B&B experience I have ever had, and by far the most romantic. The main building was built in the early 90s so has plenty of modern amenities along with the historic charm of the Appalachian cantilever barns it was modeled... More

This was one of my favorite B&B's anywhere. It's tricky to find; GPS directions will mislead you & have you driving all over the place. An immaculately restored 3-story barn (or something). Each room or suite is named after a local famous figure. We stayed in the Bargam (sp?) room. Breakfast is a gourmet experience. They will pack a lunch... More

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at the Richmont Inn. The accommodations are elegant yet comfortable, the grounds were lovely and well-kept, and the breakfasts and fondue dinner were superb. I consider myself kind of a food snob (which often sets me up for disappointment) and I really felt the food was exceptional. One more treat at... More

The pictures on the website of this Inn do not do it justice in my opinion. The Inn is unassuming on the outside (it's modeled after a traditional Smokey Mountain barn) but once you walk in the details that have gone into this establishment are fantastic. Upon entering there is a cozy fire place encased in a bookcase with beautiful... More

The Richmont Inn was where my wife and I spent the first night of our honeymoon back in August, 1995. We loved the setting, the décor, the peacefulness, and especially the comfort. After our first, and only reserved night, we asked if there was availability for us to stay one more night. Fortunately there was, so we forewent the first... More

Just returned for two days and nights as a guest at the Richmont. We have stayed at a number of B&B's across the country and I will have to say this was our best experience ever. The setting is rustic and peaceful perfect for a mountain location. The design of our room included a woodburning fireplace already set up so... More

Get away from the stress of life for a little bit. Jim and Susan are kind and friendly hosts and the place itself is a wonderful mountain retreat. Comfortable, clean as a whistle, and on so cozy! Each room has a local/historical theme. Dessert and breakfast were fine indeed!
