Spent one night in the off season, and we were pleased with the friendliness of the innkeeper and her staff. Some nice surprises including a complimentary candlelight dessert with coffee in the evening. The staff accommodated our request for an earlier than normal breakfast so we could depart for a long day upon departure. As Select Registry facilities go, this... more

This Inn was situated deep in the woods with wonderful views from the rooms. The room was elegant but rustic. Some of the rooms outside of the main house may be a little hard to get to for someone of age or physical strength. Basically, there is a house off to the side of the main building where you must... more

Stayed here for two nights while in Knoxville for business. The Richmont is wonderfully relaxing, it would make a great romantic weekend getaway or a perfect place to rest and recharge. The structure itself is unique. A three story building built in a cantolevere style (small base with larger upper floors). This means there are lots of stairs which means... more

We have stayed at the inn many times over the past 14 years, but were truly disappointed this trip. The breakfast and desserts remain excellent, but other things are slipping. There was a large area of dust on the back of the nightstands which I didn't notice until the second night. The room could have used a thorough cleaning including... more

My husband and I have stayed at the Richmont Inn on several occasions. The Inn's decor is impeccable. We have never been disappointed. Special attention is given to the bed linens. The most comfortable sleep I have had in a while. The breakfast was delcious. The Inn's granola is to die for. We throughly enjoyed the fondue dinner at the... more

My husband and I decided that we wanted a small family-only wedding and my mother suggested Richmont Inn since she and my father had such a pleasant trip there a few years prior. The Inn has a small gazebo in the woods that serves as a wedding chapel--we ultimately decided not to use it since we were afraid my wedding... more

Nice place with character and great location close to the park. Unfortunately, while the owners clearly invested in a quality location, buildings and fixtures, their attention to detail and service orientation leave something to be desired. Here are a few examples: - Entry way rug smells like dog urine (owners have dogs onsite) - Broken glass on floor was not... more

My wife and I have visited Richmont Inn on different occasions, and never left anything less than impressed. The Inn itself is a beautiful building that will educate and inspire anyone staying there. The owners are always impeccable hosts, and I must suggest that everyone try the fondue! more

Anna - Bronston, KY My husband and I drove up to the Inn last year when we came through Townsend and visited Cades Cove in the fall. I loved the way it is all secluded down that long road. We got there in the afternoon and they had tea and great little cookies set out. We walked on the lighted... more
