We thoroughly enjoyed hospitality of Diane (the owner) and organic farm. She was very helpful and prompt in assisting to our requests. Our teen kids 13 &15 enjoyed petting farm; milk feeding baby goat. Organic produce were excellent and super fresh; saved us from spending on groceries. We wish the cabin was little more updated but it had a country... More

The "quiet" side of the smokey mountains offers so much more than Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Small shops and restaurants, family friendly tubing adventures and of course, this wonderful little hidden gem for lodging. The caretakers of this property are so incredibly friendly and caring you feel like you are visiting family. We went over 3 years ago and each... More

Diane and Roger were gracious hosts treating us like family. The property was picturesque with lots of little things for the kids to do. The location is. Conveniently located off 321 and far enough in that you felt like you were away from the traffic but not so far that you couldn't run to the IGA. We had a great... More

For the second summer, we visited the Farm, and I expect we'll be back next year. What a special place. My now 12-year-old son LOVES it there and spends a great deal of time "visiting" the animals. This time he fell in love with a baby goat who kind of acts like a puppy. Beautiful gardens which are so fun... More

We stayed her for three nights in Rooster's Perch. It was a great cabin and everything we were looking for. There were four friends on a girls weekend hiking trip. During the day we hiked in the nearby Smoky mountains, then returned to our cabin to relax eat dinner and soak away the muscle tightness in the hot tub. The... More

A very special place to escape from the every day city's lifestyle . The Farm is located in a peaceful and quiet part of Townsend , off the main roads so it's safe for children to play outdoor without adult supervision . The cabin we stayed at is called Trail's End , is clean cozy and it has all you... More

For the second time, my husband and I celebrated an anniversary at the Rooster's Perch cabin. It is located in a wonderfully secluded spot, the "last house in the hollow", as we used to say in our neck of the woods! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the owner had the lights on... More

This is a really special and different place. They have a few cabins situated on a beautiful piece of property in Townsend, TN. The location is perfect - a quick drive to conveniences (grocery store, etc.) yet Townsend is very, very quiet compared to the insanity of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was thoughtfully designed and decorated. The owners... More

My husband and I stayed here in September as part of my annual "relax before Christmas" routine. I'm a retail worker and when I make a September trip, I'm looking for peace and quite. We found all of that and more. We stayed in the Bunkhouse, which is very rustic and situated in such a way that although it right... More

I can't say enough about how great this place is to stay. So much more than just a cabin. The owners are very nice and the organic gardens and sweet animals just add to the visit. Highly recommend!!! I stay at the Hideout cabin and was very pleased. Peaceful, quiet, and cozy. Very convenient to Townsend and the park, but... More
