My husband and I shared the 2BR, 2BATH Chimney Tops cabin at Dancing Bear Lodge with our daughter and nine year old granddaughter. The Cabin was clean and nicely furnished. Both bedrooms had very comfortable king-sized beds. Each bath had a large walk-in shower with nice sized vanity. Linens were above average for a cabin in the Smokies. The hot... More

My mother and I stayed at Dancing Bear several years ago before the Lodge burned and it was awesome. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and nice. My daughter, grandson and I just spent three days at Evergreen cabin and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Dancing Bear... More

Nice cabins, spacious, fairly well furnished(with one exception), roomy bathroom and tub. I stayed in their Deluxe cabin, one comfortable king bed and a convenience kitchenette. It had a mini refrigerator with separate freezer large enough to hold a bag of ice, a 12-cup coffeemaker(which was really nice compared to what you see in the average motel) and a small... More

Thank you so much for the feedback. Your comments give other guests an idea of what to expect, and we are glad you were mostly pleased with our service and the accommodations. Some of our cabins do have tables that would have worked better in your situation. We can imagine it would have been difficult as a workspace. We're in... More

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing vacation in the mountains and we found it at Dancing Bear. The cabin was great for 2 people and the feather bed was so comfortable. The staff, especially Amy and Kristi, were very friendly and helpful. The food at the Cafe was delicious. We'll definitely book here again. It was very... More

Here's the skinny: My wife had me searching the internet for "squatting rights" while we were there!!. Stayed at "Little Greenbriar". It was a one BR cabin, basically one room. The cozy cabin is one big room, but not crowded. Couch, TV, full kitchen, fast Wi-FI, bed, hot tub all in one big room - but not crowded. Couch: not a... More

Not too may word can describe these cabin. They are gorgeous, very well kept, and luxurious. I throughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay; from the beautiful room, wilderness, feather bed, jacuzzi, great shower/bath, and even the friendly staff at the apple valley country store, I did not want leave. We will definitely be back to stay here, maybe even... More

I have read ALL of the reviews as I attempt to do when making travel arrangements and relying a great deal on TripAdvisor. This is not about the accomodations, which I'm sure live up to reviews, but to their cancellation policy. My husband had a business trip to Nashville so we decided to extend our stay and booked lodging at... More

We hope that your husband is recovering well and was able to get his surgery successfully. We regret that you were unable to stay with us. We would have loved to host you. And thank you for clarifying at the start of your review that the 2-stars are not a commentary on the quality of our accommodations but rather cancellation... More
