If you have a guest visitor while you are at this campground be aware that if they stop at the office they will be charged $15.00!! Tell them to drive on in without stopping at the office or park somewhere else and and you go pick them up. Read the agreement. Sites are large, river is wonderful, bathrooms are clean... More

Would be a nice resort, pricier than the other campgrounds in the area, but their policies are ridiculous and the staff didn't care at all. Deposits are non-refundable you can't transfer them to another date, even 3 months out and if it was another emergency you have to provide documentation and pay a $20 transfer fee PLUS TAX to move... The Tremont Lodge, formerly Valley View Lodge, has been updated by the new owners and is beautiful. The Cades Cove Suite which has two king beds (one bed in a separate room) and a shared bathroom, is comfortable, clean, and upscale. Prices are higher than before, but that is expected with the new furniture and upgrades. We were pleased with... More

Pros - relatively large sites in section A, nice view of the river. Cons - COULD NOT GET ON THE WIFI for 4 days and the staff did not seem to care, water pressure is so low that we had to use our pump for showers, and traffic noise. Note: The campground is good location to the Great Smoky Mountains... More

We recently stayed 3 nights at this campground. They call it a resort but I believe it is far from that. We stayed on the river which was very nice but the traffic noise overrides the sound of the river. The childrens play area is in dire need of some repairs. The grey haired guy riding around on the golf... More

We camped here recently over Labor Day Weekend. We were unable to get a river front spot but instead were put in Section A. The spots are huge and very private and we couldn't have asked for more. We will be booking for a fall trip and hopefully will get a river spot this time. Don't understand the negative reviews... More

This was our third stay at Treemont Outdoor Resort. It was our first stay since ownership changed hands. Pros: Plenty of security for the holiday weekend Pool was clean Staff was friendly (this is a big change from previous owners) Cons: Small sites: We were in section B and our sites were practically on top of each other. The river... More

We love Tremont! It's a beautiful campground. The sites are a nice size with plenty of trees and shade. I think it is a well-maintained campground. We have stayed here 2 times and are returning in October. We have had stayed on river and off river. The river sites are our favorite!! The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed... More

This was our first time at Tremont, We were a little nervous about some negative reviews, but we're very glad we went. We stayed in a site on the river, I can't comment on the facilities because we are self contained And didn't have need to use them. I can say the sites are all beautiful, lots of trees ,... More
