Ours was a great stay in a clean, neatly appointed room with superb hospitality! Never waited longer than five minutes on any special requests, even late at night! Loved the dog friendliness! Best in Townsend!

We had a room and a cabin for a family of 5 in late December 2015. The manager was helpful and friendly. The rooms were nicely apportioned with plenty of space. Wifi worked well. The location is quite close to the national park entrance. A very good value forget money.

Townsend itself is quite little town just outside Cades Cove. Great choice if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge or Gatlenburg but fairly close so you can head over and catch the shows etc... in either. If you coming here take 321 (Wears Valley Road) out of Pigeon Forge instead of the road thought the park.... More

First - thanks everyone for the recommendation. The reviews helped make the decision to stay here. We used to live close by and never needed a room, so your help is appreciated. This mom-and-pop hotel is professionally run, extremely clean, and has been completely rebuilt, almost from the ground up. The room we stayed in was big, especially for an... More

We stayed in cabin #2 while in the mountains on our honeymoon. The management was very kind and helpful. The cabin was nicely renovated and well equipped. The cleaning staff did an excellent job! The coffee & snack basket we received daily was wonderful! I can see why you have earned the Trip Advisor Award once again! We will definitely... More

My husband used Trip Advisor to find this gem of a hotel! We needed a place to stay two nights for a quick trip to the Pigeon Forge area for the Festival of Lights. We love Pigeon Forge, but really needed some place quiet to stay so we could relax. The Townsend Gateway is 15 miles or 22 minutes away... More

Very clean and nicely decorated. Everything worked: the heat, bathroom fan, hair dryer, microwave, fridge and TV. Bed was comfortable. Friendly people running it. No stairs. Sink was outside the bathroom which is convenient for 2 people. The Townsend bike path is right out front as well.

It's hard to say anything near negative about this place due to the fact that the owners are extremely nice which offsets any possible issues. The only thing I can say is that the first room we stayed in was really updated and very comfortable. The room we stayed in last week was not as updated and needed a few... More

Older hotel, but nicely updated. Family owned and it shows by the personalized, more welcoming treatment you receive when you stay here. The room was spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, and a tv with plenty of channels to choose from in case you get stuck inside on a very rainy day or just need to catch up in the... More

A very nice place! Family-run, clean and quiet, friendly people, and a great location just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It's not high-end fancy, but very comfortable and well-decorated, and they even give you a little basket of snacks in each room. Best part was sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch, looking out at the mountains!... More
