We did not spend the night. Just made it a day trip. However it appeared there were many options for lodging, and eating. We ate at Boyette's; good food, wide selection, reasonable price. Many other choices were available in the area. Picnic tables and playgrounds were clean and inviting. Park employees were friendly, knowledgible, and helpful. Really pleasant visit.

We stayed at the main campground and found it to be one of the best campgrounds we've been to. There were thirty-something sites I think, some paved, some gravel and then primitive camping. We got the last spot that weekend and it still did not seem very crowded at all. Very well planned, although Highway 21 runs awfully close to... More
