I have always found the owners welcoming and accomodating. The cabins are cozy and well equipped, the rates are reasonable. Each time I have enjoyed the stay. Most have refrigerators, microwave or stove, wrap around porches, seating outside, all are non smoking rooms and we enjoyed the hot tub and nature surrounding us.

I rarely write reviews, but I do read them. However, because this was a brief overnight trip to visit friends in Tellico Plains, I didn't really bother. In the car, on the way there, I began reading the reviews and was disheartened to see some bad ones -- I even started to get nervous. As it turns out though, I... More

We stayed at Cabin 7 for a group gathering. It's not near the river and set back, but the website already told us that. They cabin was very clean upon arrival and well laid out. It felt very roomy with two people, and the hot tub was very comfortable to relax in during the evenings. We didn't have any trouble... More

Cabin 9 looks from the pics as a nicer one on the property, it was filthy, not cleaned and mouse infestation, droppings all over and mice running about. Monroe county health department contacted. Mice seen running around. Front desk was not helpful at all,, said no maintenance person available, they also refused to give me owners name or phone #.... More

Ok so my family and I enjoy the outdoors! So we were excited to come here for my birthday. We stayed in Cabin #6. Upon arriving we checked in and we drove to our cabin 50 ft from the check in place and there were hornets EVERYWHERE! We couldn't even get into our cabin. So I went to the check... More

Stayed in cabin number 8..didn't have much of a view at this cabin but the cabin itself was great as far as the layout and cleanliness...will definitely be back in the fall...quiet and secluded which is what we were looking for..really a neat place, and 45 min ride to the Ocoee river and some great white water rafting...

It is a nice little cabin cut into the hillside. The Cherohala Skyway runs just below it and the Tellico River is just below that. We were there over memorial day and during the day there was a lot of Harley male compensation noise on the Cherohala but at night it was quiet. The cabin was what we expected. Clean... More

This was our third stay here at Mountain View and as usual we were greeted with a friendly smile from the staff!!! We have stayed at the lodge on our last two visits but there were no rooms available so we stayed in cabin #1. We like the lodge much better as it is newer and more comfortable and it... More

This place is almost too good to be true. Fishing off of the back porch to being on top of the mountain. That is the variety of various cabin's views, all different sizes and variations depending on availability/preference.

My dad and I stayed two nights while riding our motorcycles. Cheap rates and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for us. Two beds, small kitchen, and tv. We will be back. Private deck for hanging out. This was a great weekend.
