We wanted a romantic getaway to the Chattanooga area and decided to go with the Old Towne B&B on Signal Mountain. Excellent choice! Everything about our stay was truly delightful: Susan has the place decorated to an eclectic perfection and Earl is the loveliest host. He greeted us warmly, and, as we were the only guest on our first night... More

My mother and I planned a getaway to Chattanooga and booked a room at The Old Towne Bed and Breakfast. The bed and breakfast is located in the Historic District at Signal Mountain TN. The homes in the area were built around 1920 and they were breathtaking. Earl was in the garden when we arrived and greeted us warmly. The... More

I have mixed feeling about this B&B...This is the first B&B where I had to call to make reservations, which was ok, but I felt I had the wrong number because it was just answered with an Hello. Anyways, said I would be stopping in around 2p.m. for the day of our stay...got a call the day before our arrival... More

Our 1st anniversary was truely momentous. We arrived to a sweet Earl (who was flying solo due to his other 1/2 being out of town for the weekend we were there) who showed us to our room upstairs and told us to make ourselves comfortable. In the giant room, we had a TV and vhs/dvd player, a coffee maker, and... More

Earl and Susan are wonderful hosts. Opening their home to make you feel at home. We wanted for nothing during our peaceful stay. Excellent variety for breakfast each morning. Need to call Earl back for his grits recipe .... I was never a fan until he put the magic in them! Susan is quite the dear, taking time to talk... More

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Signal Mountain. You feel like family in this lovingly converted house on the mountain. The garden and sitting porch are perfect places to sit back, relax, and let the hustle and bustle of a busy day in the city simply melt away. Susan and Earl make you... More

My wife and I decided to vacation in our own town, Chattanooga, TN. The kids were gone for the weekend and we decided to go for a little mini date. We wanted to spend the night somewhere a little different than a basic hotel. We found ourselves at Old Towne B&B. We were very happy with our choice. We found... More

This was a spur of the moment getaway for us. As it was for a Saturday night, hotels in downtown Chattanooga were booked so I started looking a bit further away. Sorry to say, I had never heard of Signal Mountain, TN, but I know it now and will never forget it. The owners of the B&B were very gracious... More

I continue to stay at this delightful b&b whenever I visit Signal Mountain, at least twice a year. Everything I said in my previous review remains true: the rooms are comfortable, the furnishings are charming, the food is delicious, the hosts are outstanding. This year, I had last minute travel plans which caused me to extend my visit by a... More
